Hello there and welcome!!!

There is a Clearance Bin area on this board, BUT you have to have at least 50 posts(I think it is still 50) before you gain access to it.

i see you all talking of buying backups or have bought backups. Do any of you know a good place that you can sell or trade backups you purchased that you really don't want anymore? I'm not looking to make money on them so trying to stay clear of ebay. Just wondering if this website has a forum or another where you can swap or trade stuff.

example: I bought 2 watch me simmer lipsticks last year from (shop cook). it looks awful on me. I have one brand new untouched and one i tried. gotta be somewhere, someone may want one. I have a few other things too that just didn't look good on me. I'm very pale and even just dabbing them on looks bad.

thanks!

you guys are making me want the caramel sundae quad too... ahhhhhh

Ok I'm about to car shopping and I'm thinking of heading to Sephora instead. LOL
Elegant-one I have been TRYING to resist you and that reflecting powder. I even popped into that thread for a bit and made it out alive, but this post right here! :thud: The only thing saving me is that I don't know how it does on my skintone  :hmm:

I was hoping Shontay would get a sample to try so we would know. I don't see why not as it is clear. No ashy, no white residue that can be found with MUFE & other powders. I think this just may be the secret beauty of it. Oh please don't resist me

ok, maybe the powder..not me

I don't have large pores, but those that did & tried it found it amazing for minimizing pores.

So, I'm chatting away with ya'll this morning, & hubs says, we're going to the lodge for lunch & you have 2 min. to get ready.

(its about 30 min. away) We were getting this really pretty snowfall today & the lodge is so great for the view in snow. So I did a really bold bold red lip using Bobbi Brown's new Heart ls (LOVE) Poised blush, which is so amazing paired with a very bold lipstick, light concealer & then I brushed the new Nars reflecting powder over my whole face & under eyes. So I check it in the car mirror in the natural lighting (which is where any crazy flaw shows) & wow I cannot say how much I love...no LOVE that reflecting powder. It gave the most flawless beautiful finish I have ever seen in all my stash of makeup products ever. And baby, thats a lot.

I'm the same way - gimme both. I think the sponge with the pressed can give a heavier application than the brush with the loose. I really enjoy makeup too.

I'm in no buy land until April. Hopefully by then there will be some reviews by WOC....if not I'll get it anyway

Outrageously Fun and Daddy's Little Girl are very similar colors (honestly, I think they are almost identical) BUT the finish is totally different. I love Outrageously Fun but it doesn't seem to wear very well on me. I'm thinking that Daddy's Little Girl will wear better. It's more opaque. I've already bought 2 backups of it. I love it!
Good to hear that you like it this much. Gives me hope about having it on my list.

I used this brush, which is thick & soft & lovely, and because its the only clean brush I had at the moment - then I ended up really really liking how it applied the powder.

I just did my nails using Le Metier De Beaute in Snappy Dragon :)

I have the UD Good Karma brush and the BareMinerals Precision Face brush. Will try them both today with the pressed...

yay!
i phoned my local store today...they allowed me to put aside products that i can pick up on the 8th when i go to have my makeup done. i was a bit surprised because they use to always insist people pick up products on launch day, and they would schedule the appointments the week after the launch. but i guess they realized people weren't so keen on that system.so now i don't have to rely on mac online....!
super awesome wonderful.
