The first one almost looks like a cookie...I feel like they could have done more with the theme though. Maybe they look better brand new, which would mean I would never want to ruin them!

no way! i like the thought provoking questions about make up. It makes me use my brain cells and stops me from drooling over new products for a few minutes

I kinda like the design, I think i'll wait for swatches ect... though. I do agree, they look a little stiff and I imagine colour payoff is gonna be a b***h but who knows, they might be wonderful!

I like the design of In For a Treat much better than Pink Buttercream, but colourwise PB will definitely suit me better. Like Gracie I hope IFaT isn't as orange as it looks or I'll be skipping that for sure.

My friend at MAC said that they swatched lighter than the AG PM's did. They look darker and more pigmented to me so that came as a surprise. She said that these will most likely only work as a highlighter, not as a blush like the AG or Vera ones did.

I'm kind of glad I skipped Archie but In For A Treat beater me the champagne they described. Pink Buttercream I think I get regardless but it seem the from the photo's both the white and leaf colours (green and lavender) is a overspray.

But with ED coming out these will probably the only thing from this collection I'll be getting.

I'm only excited about the Eclair Paint Pot and the Devil's Food Lipstick in this release. Which is good because March could be an expensive Mac month!

Will they work as a blush on a pale person? I'm just wondering.

Was she talking about an overspray?

I'm looking at the BB Pearlmattes as finishing powder. I want them to NOT have much color. I want to use them all over my face, or at least on many parts of it, to add subtle color and a little subtle sheen. So far, they still seem good to me.

I think I can deal with a light sheen. The only issue is that I'm really pale, so I don't know how exactly they'll highlight on me. :/

I'm meh on the designs of these. Mac has done better in the past. At least they've done them in a way that makes it easy to isolate the colours for different uses.

Sooo disappointed in the design of the Pearlmattes. I skipped the ones from the Archie line anticipating getting one or both of these but now I'm just meh. I'll get one or both if they end up being fantastic product, but aesthetically this is a huge letdown.

I really want to see swatches of the pearlmattes!! The look of the product becomes irrelevant to me if the quality of the product is good, but still, so not what I expected.

I really want to see swatches of the pearlmattes as well. If the green/blue leaves are only oversprays, I'm not going to be a very happy camper.
I'm worried that it won't be great quality. :/ I'm fine if it's not very pigmented, just as long as it's not very shimmery.
