I see that your location says Miami, I'm in the same area. Might I ask where you went? That sounds like something Aventura MAC would say lol:haha:
Lmao I live in Miami but I work by the one in Fort Lauderdale .. I never buy anything from their counter because the women are rude. I was kinda like in my head um no, i definitely don't stalk you. But yea the ones in aventura are kinda eh I just buy what I need and leave

Why is it that the people who work at MAC are so damn rude. From my experience I rather deal with a guy who works at MAC because they will help me get everything I need, recommend some other things and once I'm happy move on to the next customers. MAC needs to do a better job with it comes to their employees.

It's crazy! MAC does NOT make anything like this... I don't understand why someone would pay this kind of money for a fake. If I'm gonna bid that kind of money for something you better believe I'm going to google search a 180 Mac pallete before hand. I honestly feel bad for those that are taken, but you guys are so right... they are partly responsible for not doing their research.
I reported them for copyright infringement and selling counterfeit products.

Actually there are companies that specialize in fakes - fake cosmetics, too. They usually sell in countries where a line is not so well known, but they show up a flea markets, too, so people think they're getting a good deal.

I bought off amazon and received a fake. I thought I was getting the venemous villians oh so fair beauty powder and I got a fake cruella powder instead. I know it's fake cuz I also got the real Cruella BP her own devices. I didn't kno not was fake until I got the real one tho I thought someone just changed out the powder. but no it's totally fake! got my money back and had to settle for an eyeshadow instead ( her alter image) to have something to go with my hot housr lipgloss!

...wow, lol.

That's actually kinda frightening.

Maybe they thought you'd somehow found out by...I don't even know...listening in on employee meetings or...just...no clue.

Either way, highly inappropriate on that employees part.
Some artists at a counter at Macy's told me they didn't know what Fashion Sets were and that they were not getting them anyways when a couple of days before one of the other girls told me about them.

SO rude of them. I always place my orders with her and I HATE being there because they just ignore me. I spend good money at that counter too...

So I was looking into an ebay seller's feedback just to see whether or not ppl complained about getting fake stuff... to my disbelief I found this:

I just looked through all the other JUNK fakes they sold. Hmmm, I can't believe people didn't research before paying $180 for fakes!!!

Hate this. When I go shopping (esp. if I know I'm going to be trying on things), I dress in comfortable clothing that won't be a hassle to get in and out of. Similarly, if I'n shopping for makeup, I tend to wear a natural/neutral face so I can really get a feel for what the products look like on me. But... that usually tends to get me either ignored entirely, or watched as though I'm going to steal something. >.> Kinda bothered me in the beginning, since it was my first few times dealing with dept. stores and mid/high-end makeup. Made me feel like I was "didn't belong." Now I don't even care lol I live my life for me and if you want to be rude or snooty don't expect to make a sale off this lady! I have no problem taking my hard-earned money elsewhere.

My counter is great! Not one have been rude! The manager was great friends with my old co workers so he's super cool. They get busy sometimes but always greet me. This is also just a counter at Macy's so does that change things?

I think for the most part I've had good experiences. Sometimes they are too cheery, and I just want to look.   Le'melone!
I always greeted everyone as they came to the counter, and just checked back every 10 mins or so. If they needed me in between, they could ask. And as a customer I'm the same way. Quit bugging me! If i have a question I'll ask!

Lol this was me when I worked in jewelry, some people get too scared/shy to ask and I know being persistent I must have gotten at least 8-10 more sales. Commission jobs for ya. My thought as a worker * browse online!* LOL haha

:agree: Not all of them are rude but I have met quite a few who are. I don't understand some people's arrogance... On the other hand I know some very friendly and helpful MAC mua's.
So far I really like the counter at Douglas Kalverstraat, the mua's there are very friendly and helpful. And there was this one girl at Bijenkorf Amsterdam and one guy at the Pro Store, they are also awesome, don't know if they still work there because I haven't been there in ages. But other than those people, I really REALLY dislike (MAC) mua's.

I just really dislike the attitude some of them have. Luckily there are still some gems out there.

When I worked retail 20 years ago I was taught that EVERY customer should be greeted (even if that's the only thing you do.) It's the polite thing to do and cuts down on loss/theft. Because of this I am always offended if no one bothers to say hello. It literally takes seconds.
Also, doing something 20 years ago makes me feel old.

That is all. Carry on.
