. HN arrived today with most of my goods, but I'm disappointed that my two quads, Caliente, FMP & RFL won't arrive until Tuesday. I'm not usually one to whine, but as the years pile on you want things today in case you're not around tomorrow. Besides which I wanted to play around with the quads this miserable rainy, cold weekend. So this is what arrived today:




I tried Copper Strip and it is so smooth. I was in awe of how easy it was to apply & the color is intense---love it.
I also tried the Strobe Liquid w/ F&B and it's sooo nice. I set it w/NARS LRLP-----a must have.
I had Refined Golden from a prior collex, so this one is a BU---just for the compact-----it's gorgeous!
I'm wearing Sheer Seduction, the only one of my lipsticks that arrived today and it's so pretty, topped w/SS. I also tried it w/Underdressed & that worked too. I'm really pleased with everything that I've tried so far.

That's a GREAT friend Naughtyp. RFL will look amazing on you!

You look beautiful!  I wanted the quad but it just did not show up too well (NC40). whooo. I went to the MAC counter this morning and only got the two things I wanted (and I swatched everythingggg!) Question for you gals...do the blushes come with the usual plastic inserts?  Both of my blushes didn't and I'm OCD germaphobe so I just had to ask...TIA!

I have never bought a reg blush that came with the plastic insert. I thought that was only mineralize blushes?

Get a tester sample then decide!!!! Macy's counter seem to have more stock of everything versus Nordies so while you are deliberating your chances of getting GE may be better later on at a Macy's counter. I had bought it yesterday. My Nordies SA gave me two sample sizes today and I tried it and loved it. I dabbed it on select areas of my face combined with Prep and Prime Natural Radiance prior to applying my foundation. The effect was nice and noticeable. I then used a bit of Double Definition EDSF as well and Hidden Treasure Blush

I was going to be happy with FMP (I ended up with 3...) but then saw Sheer Seduction and liked the looks of Altered Beige so one of the girls at my local counter at Macy's held them for me (but they weren't sold out when I got there) and THEN I saw Caliente too, so...I ended up with the entire lipstick part of the collection (which is all I usually buy, I have so much of everything else as far as makeup goes). Sheer Seduction is amazing and Altered Beige could easy be a HG Lustre Nude for me if I ever get my lips in tip top shape which they never seem to want to do.

So i tested out copper strip yesterday, aplied it around 5pm and by 2am (i guess thats 8 hours, but i was expecting more from these pencils that don't budge) it was totally creased (i work night shifts) i didnt prime my lids tho and i have problems with creasing. Normally all i need is a paint as a base and my shadow sticks till i remove it. I'll try again with a base and see how that goes

There is a turquoise one that I am hoping is a dupe for Siahi.

Not even close. The INGLOT turquoise is indeed that a turquoise. Siahi is darker blue green. Hope this helps. I do like the INGLOT gel liners. They do have a tendency to dry out quickly. I use Duraline to revive it. INGLOT cannot be beat for their range of colors. Their black is AWESOME!!!!!

I went to the store yesterday to see what I could get my hands on. Surprisingly I bought the Bare My Soul quad. I haven't purchased a MAC quad since Palace Pedigree. I've been of the opinion that 1-2 good colors is not enough to justify purchasing a quad. However when I swatched the BMS quad every single color was a winner in terms of pigmentation. I had to snatch it up quickly! The only other thing that I got was Feel My Pulse lipstick. What can I say if its purple I'm buying it.
