I have never bought a reg blush that came with the plastic insert. I thought that was only mineralize blushes?

That's true when I think about it, I think I've become so accustomed to buying the mineral products this year from mac I always expect an insert in everything. When I opened my blush I was waiting for it to fall out haha

I would never back up a blush myself, though, because I have never in my life even hit pan on a blush! By time you do, you will probably be yearning for something else, anyway.

i use to hit pan on blushes.i used to have one blush and maybe two lipsticks.Well,these days are long gone.The only things i B2M are the cleanse off oil,mascaras and fix+

You don't depot and recycle those! My go-thrus are mascara, cremewash, VAE, MSFN, wipes, and TTs!
