thanks for answering :) i really like the colours but as you said i like the heavy smokey look which is why i'm a bit iffy, and tbh i mainly want it for beautymarked and the purple shade :\
Same here with the smokey look:p Can't live without the black eyeliner. I also got it for beauty marked! If I want it heavier I just use some other shadows, but beauty marked does a good job as well. My boyfriend actually liked it a lot. He thought it was 'natural' and refreshing to see my eyes not as smoked up as usual. I can also wear Caliente with this quad, without looking too glittery and too made up! With the summer coming up, I can def put these products to good use.

Maybe you are better off by just buying beautymarked as a single. But on the other hand I see you live in Australia, so I single eyshadow will probably cost a fortune over there (just as here in Holland)

The purple shade is very dupable! I bet if you look into your collection you will find dupes, I know I have.

Hmmm I suppose you're right :) lol true unfortunately, it's really depressing. I want to go to America solely for the purpose of makeup shopping :( the quads here are $72 because of the packaging, and single eyeshadows are $30 so I suppose it's worth buying the quad if anything. We'll see if I can resist the temptation though :/

Beautymarked is a color that leaves me a little confused. I wish it applied the way it appears in the pan. It's not horrible or anything...but the "red pearl" doesn't really show except for a few stray pieces.
Texture formulas need to be pressed onto a creamy base in order for the sparkle to show up on the lid as it does in the pan. If they're brushed on the lid, or a dryer base is used, you get mostly the base colour of the shadow with a few speckles of the shimmer colour.

LOL she is good. Are you giving it to her? My lil cousin tried on my Ririwoo and she thought she was getting it... uh no Boo! LOL but I know that's different than a daughter.
Yeah, probably. Like you I'm no longer feeling dark colors on my lips.

What liners folks using with Sheer Seduction? I feel like it needs something to help keep the sparkles in line.

I actually tried it with Lit Cosmetics glitter base (random moment) and it applied beautifully and didn't budge. I knew if I used a creamy base I would get more true to pan color but I was thinking of those days when a creamy base wasn't really desired (if that makes sense).

Ah ok. I'm still using Beige-ing daily, so i always have a creamy base!

I'm still not sure how I feel about Caliente. Dark colors like these are iffy on me. Even my beloved Boyfriend Stealer looks a hot mess if I put it on too dark. Makes my lips shrink.

Anyone else iffy about it besides me and TT? LOL
i think i should wear a liner with it (to make the transition to my skin better), but i don't find it dark....
that said, so far when i've worn it, i've just done the lazy thing and slapped it on without liner...

That's funny. Caliente didn't look dark on me at all. And I fall in the jelly category. Such a shame it didn't work for you. Did you fill in your lips with liner before you applied Caliente? Maybe that's why it turned out too dark.

Ditto. Caliente is divine

My Sheer Seduction won't arrive before Thursday. If I like it half as much as I love Caliente I'll be a happy bunny. The same applies to Underdressed. MACerette, it's all your doing!

I've used Caliente with and w/o liner. I like it best w/o liner.

I forgot who asked, but when I wear sheer seduction I wear NYX toast liner, very lightly.

I used today Caliente wiith Underdressed, but ultimately too many sparkles in the mouth came out.

I am fascinated by the Paints, already four days in a row doing eye makeup only them and exit the rapture can not. Specifically on Untitled, Stilife and Bamboon.

Especially Untitled and Bare Canvas!

I wish MAC would bring back more colorful paints....

I thought I had gotten away without spending too much on this collection. I had initially only purchased the strobe lotion. Then after all the hype about RFL, I ordered that on the re-stock. And today, I had a MAC appointment and the MUA used the BMS quad on me for a soft brown smoky eye (using the two browns on the lid and wedge in the crease), so you guessed it, I got the quad! I guess I wasn't so good after all!

But at least I have pretty makeup!

I got Ripe For Love blush because I didn't have any peachy orange toned blushes but then I forgot I had NYX's Cinnamon and Orange. RFL has pink in it though. I love RFL!
