MAC Temperature Rising Collection (May 2013)

Texture formulas need to be pressed onto a creamy base in order for the sparkle to show up on the lid as it does in the pan. If they're brushed on the lid, or a dryer base is used, you get mostly the base colour of the shadow with a few speckles of the shimmer colour.

So do you mean it works best with a paint pot underneath? Or something else? I have Temperature Rising and I love the soft look but I would also like to know how to make the colours and flecks come up more! Thanks!

Yes, but you have to work quickly before the PP dries down. Once it dries, it won't work.

I had been using it every day as well but then I got my AAO blushes and became obsessed with HJ. But today i put on RFL and fell in love again. Did you initially decide to skip Sheer Seduction or did you just miss out on it?

I was just really torn and I was also going to keep my haul to just RFL and Caliente, so I got those and called it quits until I got Caliente and fell in love. After that I just had to have SS. Lol

I'm surprised by how many items were left at my counter today. RFL, FMP (and one other lippie, Caliente maybe :dunno: ), both quads, and all the fatties!

Me too! I thought RFL was at least the top selling product but I guess that only counts for us here at Specktra!

They had 2 RFL left. I offered to a CP while i was there for tons of stuff, but only 2 people asked. They have archies stuff, tons of MM, TR stuff and AAO lippies. :dunno:

Same here. My store had a lot of TR stuff left over. When she opened the drawer to get my AAO stuff I was surprised at how many brown boxes were in there.

MAC Being a victim of their own invention. I seriously believe they hold stock back to create hype. So it sells out people go nuts.. But They release Sooooo many different collections back to back that our frail lil ADHD minds forget we were obsessed.... So they loose at the end 2 weeks ago: Omg the bronzers, the lippies from temp rising, THE QUAAADS!! Purple everything! Here lady take my baby as a form of payment I need the entire collection. (ok. That was me. But I dont have a baby. I did offer to sweep around after the event to help pay for the stupidly huge haul) This week; ORANGE!! Waaaahhhh!!! Trample everything! Must get sushi kiss... It was their own fault. If they just sent full stock of stuff they'd made more money. Em 94 YJ white.

Thank you for the recommendation, I'll have to give it a try! It will be an excuse to buy a paintpot! I use urban decay primer potion as I feel it lasts longer but it isn't creamy so I don't get the effect we're talking about! Would any paintpot do (painterly, bare canvas) or does it need to be coloured to enhance the violet tones?

Painterly works perfectly fine! I actually use painterly on everyone, for every colour. Since they do dry down (not super fast, but not as slow as I'd like it to), do one eye at a time when using the velvet textures. At least do one eye at a time up to and including applying that colour. Then you can do both eyes together, as this makes it easier to make both eyes even.
