HI you guys, I learned about this site from a suggestion on CurlyNikki.com. Been lurking on this particular thread every since the day of the RiRi release and decided to join. You ladies are so encouraging and I enjoy reading all of your post. Even the one's where yall are "reading" >>>insert attitude here<<< MAC for their shenanigans...LOL. I've recently spent too much on makeup to be proud of so I am going on a 3month no buy (except to replace staples). So I'll use this forum to get my temporary fix :) Thanks for having me.

And they better not cancel backordered items or i will actually be upset now cuz after swatches surfaced i want both my riri boy and heaux. If not imma have to pay dem ebay prices lol
Yessss! I need to stop lurking for knowledge and just jump in and be social. Wasting sellers time it should be a crime lol

Agree that MAC corporate comes off looking nasty and vindictive. I hope cooler heads will prevail at MAC and not be like Pop Copy (for Dave Chapelle fans), "Why do we treat our customers like this? Cuz f*ck 'em! That's why!"
That is a funny azz skit. LOL.

Weren't there a few complaints previously about RRW breaking at the base?

I think I'll refrigerate mine when they arrive on Tuesday. I hope they offer a remedy for you ASAP.
Just got off the phone with MAC heated because my RRB arrived damaged AND BROKEN! They said I have to wait for someone to call me sometime next week to decide what to do because they have to handle the RiRi Hearts collection differently for damages!?!? I guess they think people will lie about it to get more but don't you have to send the damaged products back? Never went through them before. So disappointed because RRB was the main one I was looking forward to. And when I say broken I mean literally, it dropped off of the base and on to the table AFTER I took this picture...so it looked like this before it fell!

I'm loving the swatches. Thanks guys! Funny enough, I saw my friend wearing UTA yesterday and even though I ordered Riri Boy, now I'm feeling like I want UTA too. Welp.

Welcome! And good luck with the no buy. I always try that and fail woefully.

What kind of BS is this?! Terrible CS here, just terrible. I'm sorry about this and i'm hoping they get this resolved instead of basically saying "Eff it. The lipstick we sent you is damaged? So what. Use it or send it back and we might be able to get you another in a month or so." Ugh. I remember I once received a NARS np from fedex and the bottle had exploded and NP was all over the place. I e-mailed them and said I would be able to provide pictures and they said it wasn't necessary and just sent me out a new bottle right away. THAT is what MAC should be doing. Jeez.

when did you place your order? I placed one for riri woo and heaux yesterday and they sent me an email saying heaux was backordered but riri woo had a label created for it.

Yep! MAC could take some notes. I feel like they act like this because they are more "affordable" but with their price increases... They are getting closer and closer to high end brands...it's worth it for me to just buy higher end and get better CS!

Lol my order was from Tuesday at like 2:30 eastern time.... No label... Nada... Just says pending on the blush duo and drops and back ordered on the l/s.

And I STILL haven't gotten a cancellation email. If I wouldn't have checked my status on their site I would not have even known that it was cancelled.
Same here...Bunch of nice people over there. Ha!

I feel bad for CS. I doubt many if any agree with the way mgmt is handling this, yet it's their job and they have to deal with pissed customers who they probably agree with but can do nothing because mgmt won't step up. I'm sure they're sick of this collection!

That's exactly what I'm going to do. And I will get a replacement OR my money back to boot. They can't resell the lippie anyway. All I have to do is contact my bank and they will take care of my refund if MAC tries to play games!

Careful with your bank though -- that's how my money just vanished! MAC refund gone wrong, smh. MAC took a double payment, I got the bank to refund it -- then because I didn't receive papers they sent for me to sign and send back, they took the money again. I've spoken to 8 different people today, all to try and get this damn money back and I won't have it until Monday now. Smh. I'm fed up of CS all over the place. MAC, banks, etc. Can all just do one.
