MAC Indulge Collection (August 22, 2013)

I ordered more than I thought I would from this collection...surprisingly, the nail polishes are what tempted me the most!

I am a taupe junkie...and the last thing I need is another eyeshadow like Beluga, but I just couldn't help myself.

Random aside but does anyone remember the Starflash eyeshadows? I wish they'd bring back a collection of those!

I'm taking the plunge with Deliciously Rich but I was wondering if Utterly Tart seems worth it? I don't have any strongly pigmented lipglasses in the red/berry range but maybe something from the perm line would do just as nicely without having to rush to grab this? I also was thinking of picking up VG I lipglass cause that money goes to charity and I love all things blue based to a fault.

Please help. I've been wearing red lippie since the 5th grade. After I found Moxie, a whole new love of bright, bold pink lippies took hold. Seeing as how I am very addicted to bold lippies, I would love to find a nude LS (I'm NC20) but not for my fair skin. I need a light lippie for when I do a bold eye. I don't follow the 'rules', especially the wearing a bold eye means I should downplay my lips. But I would very much like to have something that is a tad toned down in my arsenal. I am not one who wants to add a lipliner, etc. so I just want a nice bold nude that beauties with darker skin tones like (it doesn't have to be MAC, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on something I won't wear often). I was hoping FTS LS would be good but it's wayyyyyyy too light. Plus, I do not wear Lustres & am iffy on Creamsheens. Thank you

Check out Posh Tone Mineralize lipstick for something with browner tones and silky finish; also Mehr for something with pinker tones and more matte finish. They're both nudish colors that aren't too light and are super flattering (I'm NC15 and they read medium MLBB on me, on NC20 they'll be even more MLBB).

I definitely agree! I'm going through a split after a 9 year relationship and make up, shoes, and being on here has definitely brought some sunshine back into my life.

I've had a very similar and painful experience happen to me and that is what got me into makeup and helped me cope with my pain by adding a fun distraction.

I budgeted for this collection so I would make sure to have money put back for it ... fall collections like this and Cult of Cherry are usually among my favorites.

Your comment reminded me that I need to go shop for clothes though. School starts for me on Monday, but I dread clothes shopping and now I have no idea what size I wear in anything... around about the time I split from my ex I developed an auto-immune disease and gained 100 lbs. About 11 months ago they finally got my treatments right so I have dropped 115 lbs since last September and now even my pre-illness clothes don't fit me (not to mention being way out of date).

I am not looking forward to completely replacing everything ... not at all ...

I'm in the same boat, I need another red like a hole in the head but Just a Bite looked so rich and pretty for Fall! I get very excited about fall colors this time of year lol I'm still pondering the Glamour Feast blush but I think I'm going to wait for more swatches
