My stuff got here ... and two of my three lippies (All Fired Up and Steady Going) are damaged. The pencils are all perfect ...
Steady Going is pretty much fine ... there is waxy buildup (quite a lot actually on both) but I couldn't care less about that. The real issue is that the bullet was not seated in the tube at all so it stuck in the top of the tube. I was able to get it down into the tube while barely smudging the sides so no biggie.
All Fired Up on the other hand ... it seemed fine when I opened it but then I noticed that it was leaning to one side. I touched it very lightly to see if maybe it was just hot and softened at the base from shipment and when I did that the bullet fell off. It was completely broken off just below the well and is going to be a bitch and a half to use as is since the bullet won't stay still for application ... not really sure what to do (if anything) as I really want the color, but I can't say I'm not annoyed. Also aggravating as I store my lippies upside down and the bullet won't stay seated ... sigh ...

Just call. They will send another if it is not LE. It happened to me before with a party parrot lippie. Plz swatch shock wave if possible.

It's insanity. I bought 3 drugstore mascaras on a 3 for 2 a couple months back and they still worked out to be cheaper than buying 1 of the Benefit They're Real mascara. Ridiculous. :/$30!? Saying that though, it costs nearly $40 for one Benefit blush here. £23.50 -- why would I pay that when MAC is like £17/£18?

Cuz i work the mascara into the root of my lashes, and the plastic wand pokes me in the eye. Used a covergirl one once and it killed me! Never used one since, and never will! Plus no way in hell would i spend $30 on a mascara! $30 every 8 weeks is insanity!

Oh yeah...it's THAT ridiculously expensive. Both times I bought it I got it on sale (both with the "free" mini tube) but it's why I don't use it as often as I do the crap load of free CoverGirl Lash Blast mascaras I got lol. I won't open that second full sized tube until I absolutely have to. Besides, I swear those CG mascaras keep multiplying. I've given away a ton of them and still have a lot of them lol$30!? Are you

I think They're Real is as close as I've found to an HG mascara but it still isn't quite right. I don't layer any mascaras like I know a lot of people do because I find it just clumps on my lashes no matter how I do it. I just can't stand clumpy lashes. I do need to invest in a good eyelash curler at some point though, any suggestions?

RiRiGate all over again. Tons of people had either smooshed Heaux's & RiRi Boys or ones that completely broke off of the base. Lots of headaches later and new shipments, many got normal replacements or refunds depending on who they talked to. Not stupid at all, there was a huge fiasco with the Rihanna summer collection, LOTS of broken lippies and it was a nightmare.

OK thanks then I guess I will call ... I just tried to swatch AFU with a lip brush and the texture is so dry that it is incredibly tedious so hopefully they can either tell me how to fix the bullet or send me a new one. you dearly for that :kiss: but as for the broken lipsticks, call then asap and get that shit taken care of. After the whole RiRi situation, this should not be happening again, and should've been handled the first time. Our responses aren't aimed at you at all hun, they're towards mac and their bullshit. I swear if my lippies arrive busted tomorrow, there's gonna be hell to pay!

You could clear out the lipstick that is down in the well (about an inch of product) and then gently insert the bullet in to it. Your lipstick will be a great deal shorter but you will be able to use it as usual. Still call them of course. They will replace it but this will make the current one useable.

Sorry, I was shaking my head at MAC, not you. It brings back bad memories of the RiRi drama. Fortunately, my RiRi lipsticks were intact... but it always makes me nervous when I hear about broken lipsticks.
