I was mostly looking forward to the Magnetic Nude collection. I hope they don't pull the mini ED shadow b.s again. I will be extremely disappointed.

Val Garland's glasses are so fabulous too! Love her so much.

I'm actually more excited for these than for the Velvetease lip pencils, which have more room for problems (what if they're dry?, what if they're not self-sharpening? (I HATE having to sharpen soft lip pencils - why I tried and then immediately wrote off those Nars ones years ago), what if they dry out with use?) If these are like Tendertones in a tube, I will be a very happy lady.

Thanks, Liba! That pink eye look is hot. I also read something about a f/l called Chilled. Maybe there will be a f/l collection?

Not too excited about those lipstains, because I hate that kind of packaging/lipstick shape.

If not a f/l collection, maybe just a general spring collection with lots of bright neon pastels! I'd be up for that.

From the article, Phlox Garden was applied on top of Soft Ochre pp, so it's possible it's not super opaque on its own, but even if that's the case, I am still buying the heck out of this. I LOVE the look of colored liner seriously winged out with matching colored mascara and wear that sort of thing all the time in the spring/summer on an otherwise bare eye, either with a crazy strong lip or with just a totally bare face with only a touch of balm. If MAC doesn't offer a hot pink mascara in the colored mascara collection coming at the end of the year, Butter London is doing one, so I will have my matchey-matchey one way or another. I used to have a fabulous hot pink mascara with a violet opalescent sheen in the 90's - it's a surprisingly good look with green eyes…just slap a little black pencil in the waterlines and you're good to go.

I'm one of the fans of the Sheen Supreme bullet shape. When you use it a few times (maybe 5-6x), I find it starts to conform to my natural cupid's bow shape really well, because of how soft they are. Much easier to get a nice, rounded upper lip shape without as much patting and readjusting as the usual pointier bullet. 'Not so good for firmer formulas, but for something soft and moist, works very well once you break it in.

The Butter London magenta mascara looks pretty but did you know you can buy a medium MAC sells to mix your own mascara colors? I am thinking of trying it with Landscape Green, French Violet and Magenta pigments. I got some and haven't tried it yet, I think it is supposed to make the pigments go on like a colored version of Opulash.

Speaking of coloured mascara, H&M currently has a mint and a lavender one, and a matching lavender liner and a baby blue one. I just ordered those for a CP, 2,95€ each. They might have them in the US too, but not on the website.

I used to have lavender mascara too - that's another good look! I can't quite justify $30 for mascara or I would have been all over those pale aqua and khaki bronze Chanel mascaras. If MAC does some knockoffs of those, I'm going to pounce.

The lash mixing medium is actually the Pro Long Lash (DCed for a few years now) mascara formula, a more lengthening version of the Pro Lash (also DCed) mascara.

I also get teary-eyed in no time, so that's really a no-brainer.
