StbS is very pretty on my pale skin, but I do have to make sure I don't use a heavy hand with it because it can be too intense.

I loved it! I just ordered it, last night. I can't wait to actually play around with it. I like to layer other blushes together on my cheeks. So, I'll be interested to see what color combos, I can come up with.

Totally agree! I was really looking forward to that lavender blush in the Strenght collection, but it never got to my store!

I don't remember a lavender blush with Strength, but I'm curious which one you're talking about!

I'm not sure, but she may be referring to the lavender blush from Taste Temptation... :dunno:

Got my black box yesterday. I decided on Private Party, You've got it creamsheen and Lavish living Blush.
(Excuse the mini break out.)
You've got it is a nice nude gloss on me. I thought it would be milky but it's prefect. I may give the lipstick a chance.
Private Party Lipstick is a nice office party/christmas at the folks purple but it runs pinky on me. I was hoping for a darker color...
Lavish Living is just as Liba described...nothing special straight on but once you turn to the side it's really pretty...beautiful sheen (i have it on in both pics)

Oh No! I'm sorry your car kicked the bucket! Well. At least you were able to get your hands on a few things at least. I ended up buying STBS last night. I won't get it till the end of the week but, It was the only other color, that looked interesting. I tried it on at the counter and it didn't look rusty on my cheeks. I had to apply it lightly but, It looked like a nice plummy, rose gold on. But. I think getting transportation at this point, is a little more important than a blush! LOL.

Definitely! Transportation > Makeup lol. Good news is I found out it's just the starter going out. The car's gonna live to see another day! LOL. But...I should probably save up for a new one anyway, so I'll have to be picky and choosy with my makeup hauls.

STBS does sound nice, though....

Oh here's one that's pretty outrageous but I'm into it with just minimal lips and some pencil eyeliner: Hot Nights + STBS.

Originally, my MA had to talk me into Hot Nights, because it's so strong, but he convinced me, and I've wound up wearing it a ton! I think I am officially completely unafraid of strong cheeks by now.

Do you use any type of chemical peel in your regimen? For years I suffered with breakouts which led to acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. I had to wear heavy make up and concealer to hide the dark spots. In 2010, I read about lactic/glycolic/salicylic peels. After doing a lot research, began giving myself peels at home. I have not had a breakout, my acne scarring is gone and my skin is flawless. Just thought I'd share this info. with my specktra ladies.....

Did you get Prom Princess?

This does sound really outrageous! But I really love Prom Princess on so if I can make that work, I'm sure I can with these too.

I think I'm gonna wait 2 weeks and see what mac has left for pro discount . The blushes and msf's are so pricey here in Canada . Gonna grab a couple lipsticks at full price though I think

Might be the swatch but this Dark Deed looks a bit lighter and not as black-tinged as the one from VV Collection :dunno:  

I was thinking the same thing, so disappointing! I may end up cancelling my pre-order. Got to swatch in store and DD wasn't the dark blackened red I'd seen from the first release.

Nope looks very natural! I wasn't  saying that there was anything wrong, but it just looks different from her other pic wearing the same lipstick so she obviously uses different lighting now. Yes the products look different on different people, that's not what I am talking about.  I always count on her pics, because we have the same coloring. That is why, when I saw her post for the Divine Nights lipstick I immediately wanted Prepare for Pleasure, even though that was the one I crossed off my list. It looked the best on her in my opinion, so that is the one I just picked up at nordies. All thanks to Christine, because I haven't really seen anyone in here raving about PFP, so I would have def skipped it if it wasn't for her pics.

I don't think so, I love it on you! I'm a nude addict myself and love Flair for Finery. It has, in my opinion, just the right touch of pink in it that helps it to not be too pale

Thanks for posting the swatches! It's such an unusual color, even with some similar colors out there. Hehe, funny, because seeing the two together makes me love Lavish Living even more, because of the silver!!!! So SO SOOOOO true!! It's pretty easy to get a muddy brownish color from LL with a heavy layer or two thin layers, although I will have to say, it's sort of a handy color to add a little touch of for extra depth, using a small brush like the 109. I love that I can get so many different effects with one blush and I seriously hope MAC starts taking the MBs in this direction. Looks gorgeous on you - like something straight off the runway. It's a great color for you. 'Wish I could have pulled it off, but it was just wrong on me. Feed the Senses is plenty for me, though! Oh the one from Taste Temptations (Unconventional) was fantastic - the best lavender blush MAC's come out with (at least for me). It wasn't powdery or too white or chalky looking like all the others. If MAC did a blush like Lavish Living in a paler lavender like this, I would be falling all over myself to get it! Beautiful as always! What are you wearing on your eyes? i skipped Prom Princess because I thought Passionately Tempted (the other Taste Temptations blush) would be enough for me. Hot Nights was nice, though, because it was warmer than PT and had a great texture, so I caved. I think if you have one, you probably don't need the other, since these colors sure do go a long way.

Nice! That's WAY better than having to buy a new car! And yeah. STBS is nice! Let's just hope that when I get it next week "Hopefully" I will be able to play around with it.
