Have you seen how PP looks on someone your same complexion? If so, did it appeal to you? I would say to wait for a restock, I don't believe there has been one yet and there most likely will be. If you still want to go ahead with eBay, can you wait until you get some eBay bucks? That way you can get somewhat of a discount. I personally love PP. I wish I would have had a chance to swatch but I decided early on that I was gonna skip this whole collection, lol (yeah right). Then I ended up getting EE, which I love and talk of the town. I'm NC30 and when I saw swatches on T's website I wasn't too impressed with anything ( we're the same shade) but I should have known better as none of her swatches have really done it for me lately. Do you think online stores will restock even if mac said their site won't be restocking holiday collections?

I really wanted the Nude Eye set, but not sure if it's worth the 55 euro, I am used to paying a bit more in cosmetics, but the euro prices in this collection are absurd!

Yes, I want to try EE on! I did not get Nude so I want to try this one. EE might be better for me as it's not a reddish neutral(?). Hope it's not too nude on me though.

There's nothing even remotely reddish about EE, I can tell you that lol. It's kinda like the secret lovechild of OCC Sebastian and Riri Nude, but a bit lighter than what you'd get if you mixed the two.

I got 3 lippies (PP, EE and PFP), a blush (LL), a MSF (STBS) and the gold eye bag. I initially wanted the piggie and lip conditioner sets but I'm probably going to pass.

Dammit, these pics are making me think I could just about get Exclusive Event to work. There goes my groceries budget for this week (and sadly I'm not even joking!)

I was being so good with this collection. I'd decided that Private Party didn't look that different from Craving on me, that You've Got It was far too frosty, and that Lavish Living would be too muddy, so I only came away from the counter with the pink CSG set. But then Debenhams had 10% off, so I bought Flair for Finery as part of my ongoing quest to find an everyday pink lipstick that doesn't make me look like death warmed over. And now it seems I've got the Divine Night bug. All downhill from here...

Finally wore EE today (I've mentioned this in another thread but I really don't understand the idea that EE is a dupe for RiRi Nude at all).

It's one of those colors that some will love and some will hate...and a lot just won't understand until they see it on themselves lol. I originally thought it would be a lot closer to OCC's Sebastian (another one of those colors that seems to scare and confuse people lol) but like someone mentioned it's somewhere between Sebastian and RiRi Nude.

Thanks a lot for this pic. I've been wanting to see someone close to my color in EE. I actually like it. I don't think this would be an everyday lipstick for me but with a grey/taupe smokey eye I think it would look really good. Hmmm. It seems like a lipstick that needs to be tried on in-person, though. I don't have any money to waste.

EE looks great on you. I bought Nude & it looks weird on me so I wonder if EE would work on me. I just left the MAC store I wish I would've tried it on.

I agree that it's not an every day neutral for most people (definitely not for me) but I do like it. I didn't use a liner with it so I don't know...maybe playing with it I could make it into a more everyday friendly lippie but I others that I could do that with. I think it's something you could wear but if you're in doubt then you should definitely try it on first if you can.

Thank you! I like the way Nude looks on me...it's something I can wear more on a daily basis than EE but that's just me. Not sure how Nude is pulling on you but it's possible EE may be the better choice for you. If you get a chance to get back to the MAC store definitely try it out. I took a chance and ordered EE from Nordies about a week or so ago assuming the color was a bit closer to Sebastian. I wasn't disappointed or anything...I only ordered it because I saw the grey tone in it...otherwise I was skipping this entire release lol.

I think the Riri Nue dupe idea may have been an idea taken out of context from something I'd said. What I actually said was EE + Stone lipliner was an exact dupe on my lips. I had EE + Stone on the top lip and Riri Nude/ no liner on the bottom and you couldn't tell the difference on me, with my lip color and skin tone. Pretty huge jump from that to it actually being a dupe for everyone straight out of the tube. At first, I'd try and jump in and damage control and correct everybody like a school teacher, then I just stopped because we've had so many people posting photos anyhow.

In any case, I think it looks quite striking on you and brings out your eyes!

Awwwww...thank you! I tried to stay out of this thread because I was trying to avoid this collection but I remember seeing people making reference on the RiRi thread about EE being Nude's dupe. I didn't think too much about it because I had Nude and I didn't want to see anything from this collection or I'd be tempted lol. Then I saw a member on IG wearing EE and it reminded me of Sebastian a little...so I caved and found it on Nordies and ordered it. But refused to look at swatches of anything else lol. I get why people would take your pics out of context but I don't know why I still hear people saying that they are dupes...even outside of Spectra. :shrugs:

That's a nice haul! Lucky you, you are able to select, I'm still hoarding almost all of the mineralize stuff. I will probably skip the sets, too. Just because I already have some items in them. However, there's not much stuff coming out in December, so we'll see.
