MAC Divine Night Collection (October 17, 2013)

Does anyone have any suggestions of a good liner to go with Private Party?  I'm wearing it with Half-Red at the moment, but I'm looking for a better match.  Cheers.

I wore it with Currant the other day & I loved the combo.

Anyone have any idea where I can still find private party? I missed out and mac says they won't be restocking. I just got an invite to have my makeup done at one of my local mac counters with this collection but what's the point if you can't buy the items because they are all sold out? So frustrating!

I would like to know this as well. I would love to get a backup.

I actually have two local stores, one is in harvey nichols and the other is a store on it's own both a few minutes apart haha... I don't think people are crazy for their MAC collections here.

NATlar - it definitely seems that Divine Night hasn't been as big here as it's been in the US. I was in my local store (Leeds) on Thursday and they still had all the lipsticks - although I got the last Private Party.

Debenhams screwed me over with my order of Flair for Finery, so I might go and see if HN still has it in stock.

I love pp and am happy to see all te different liners everyone is using with it. I've tried nightmoth and loove it!!! Also, I've tried TTT l/l with it too and also was happy with the way it looked.

I know we all talk about the lipsticks all the time, but seriously….Talk of the Town MB - I've been wearing the hell out of this lately. My hand is automatically drawn to it every time I'm trying to select a blush. On me, it's a blush + highlight all in one. It looks incredible in low light situations too. I was out this weekend sitting across from a mirror and I felt like a jerk, because I couldn't take my eyes off how good TotT looked in the reflection.

Agreed! It is a really great shade for an evening out. It feels very *special*.

exclusive event on the top and riris nude on the bottom . whoever told me they were the same lied lol . they are soooo different . EE is wayyy more grey and nude is way more wearable !

Yeah I pointed that out a few pages back although I wasn't sure if it was already mentioned. I never understood why people kept saying that EE was the dupe for Nude. :shrugs:

I love the two blushes I got from this collection, and the eye shadow. I wish I could have gotten more shadows but was doing my best to be good....I love the sheerness of the shadows, and the retro vibe in the colours of the blushes...i:'m much more excited by these than the lipsticks or glosses in this collection.

Private Party is the best satin lipstick I have and I have almost all of them from the perm line because it's my favorite finish.
I don't care much for Prepare for Pleasure because it looks a little too wet/glossy and my personal preference for reds is that it be in matte, retro matte or satin.

I just got my nude in the mail today because I finally found one lol I was pissed I missed out on it so I got EE and then when that came in the mail I was like uhhh this is grey lol but i ended up liking it ! it looks really good with the becca lipgloss in fallen angel over it !

Awwww...thank you! It's a pretty color but it's definitely one that scares some people because of the grey in it. I've noticed more people gravitate towards it once they saw how others were able to pull looks together with it...it was just the initial fear of the "Uh oh! Grey is NOT a 'normal' color" reaction lol.

Does anyone with fair colouring have and like Lavish Living? I absolutely fell in love with it, but I was told that it would look muddy on my skin, so I skipped it. Now I'm beginning to wonder whether that was a mistake or not.

I do, and it doesn't look muddy on me. I've gotten a lot of use out of it already. I think you should get it if you can!

I've got it, too. I was wearing it last Saturday with TotT as a highlight and FF on lips. At first, LL looked like bruises on my cheeks but I buffed it out and it was very subtle and nice.

Today I'm wearing PfP for the first time. Love it how glossy it is.

I have not worn PP yet, but already tried it on lips. I think I would wear it with Just Wonderful liner. I don't have the other ones mentioned.
