It is so pretty and pearly but not too metallic. It is like my skin but better. I love how subtle it is and just looks like glowing but not pore emphasizing. Reminds me of the meteorites ballz in pressed form.
This post makes me want to get at least 10 of it.

Stereo Rose is as prevalent as Superb x 3 (skipped it last year, no year before last 2012, Apres Chic Collection). Just may give SR a chance this time around if I can find one with a whole lot of orange goodness. I am inclined to also haul 2-3 CSG by then only if I finish up a few lipglosses and call it a day. The blushes may not be too flattering on me plus I NEED a blush break. The eyeshadows are a easy skip for me. I like these eyeshadows as much as I like the ones from Divine Nights. Thank God for Amourous Alloy (plus bu's) to compensate in MN collection. Generally, this collection seems nice overall but I know that it will be a very light haul for me (1 MSF, possible 2-3 CSG, done). Team Low Buy strikes again!
Some are loving SR but I am not. Will try it again if not will be getting rid of it. I'm thi king of using it with other blushes, will see

Perfect Topping is a Mineralize Skin Finish that MAC described as "Pink/peach/lavender melange". It was released in the 2009 Sugarsweet collection.

CON: Some MSFs can be rather metallic or frosty, with some tending to glitter, although i think MAC may have toned them down a bit over the years.

PRO: This color combo is great for me because my skin tone is neither warm nor cool, it's neutral. That means that on my face i can wear some cool tones as long as they aren't too cool and some warm tones as long as they aren't too warm. Because it is a blend of warm and cool, Perfect Topping is a great highlighter for me. And it can be worn by most skin tones: on makeupalley women of pretty much every color seem to love it.

I'm only getting lippies if they are either satin or matte/retro I never reach for any of my creamsheens, frost , luster or amplified. I'll try to limit myself to only 2 face products either two blush or one blush one msf ;)

If it's the third time relaunching it they might as well make it permanent
This is at least the fourth time MAC has released Stereo Rose. As best i can figure:
it first appeared in 2005 in the Goldplay collection;
it was repromoed in 2010 in the In The Groove collection;
and it came back in Winter 2012 in the Après Chic collection, which is when i tested it.
From what i've read, each time it comes back it's a little different.

It is one of those "best belovèd" items, but it's too bright and too orange for me, so i don't have it and i don't want it. More for everyone else

Stereo Rose MSF is by far the most amazing MSF that I ever own! I try not to use it too often and I might just back it up this time lol

I'm in the same boat with you on those lippies, I hope we do get a few nice satin, retro or mattes since I love em.

I second you on that one. It's too orange for my liking as well. One more for everyone else. :)

I'm in the opposite boat on the lippies. I like my lipsticks best when they are soft and creamy, just like butter! :)

I bought it with après chic, but it looked so crappy on me I sold it to a friend. I really couldn't get it to work for me, maybe because I'm so extremely yellow? I don't really know. If it is in this collection at least I know I'll save $ on that.

Wouldn't it be really cool if they could have at least one their collections with each of the featured lipsticks, available in all finishes??? Now that could really be something!

Okay, guys, help me out here. For the life of me, I can't figure out what that little box with the letters in the above post means.

Please and thank you. :)
Those are smileys only Iphone users can see apparently. It confused me for the longest time, lol.

That description convinced me to get Perfect Topping. :)

I'm in the same boat of lipsticks as you but I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least a cremesheen and a lustre in the collection.

If that other MSF is Perfect Topping, I am definitely getting it. I was disappointed it wasn't included with Baking Beauties.
