She nails her character. I really believe her as Madame Delphine. That is one super crazy psychotic nasty person, but with how Kathy portrays her, I don't despise her as much as I do the real LaLaurie. When I went to NOLA two years ago my friend and I took a tour of her home. I had to leave. I hate people that hurt others and animals for no reason except because they feel they can and it makes them seem so powerful.

The real LaLaurie's fled when they were found out. Yeah, real brave people those two. I hope they died a miserable death. Okay. Sorry. Off topic.
They were incredibly awful people, those kinds of acts are inexcusable.

Season 2 was so good. Odd, but good. I know I'll probably re-watch it sometime in the future like I did with season 1. I love them all in different ways, season 1 just really got me because I love things that have to do with hauntings.

Me too. I liked season 2 also. I start off liking the first few episodes and then it seems to go off story and that drives me crazy. I just enjoy the show enough that I put up with some of the more silly stuff.

Are the characters based off the real people?
I want more Kathy!!!! That first episode knocked my socks off! Kinda hard to believe that the same guy who does 'Glee' does this show. lol
Really? I cant stand gleee. lol
I absolutely love it and think it is again wonderfully well written and acted. Not my favourite of all the seasons (Murder House was my fav) but I think it is still really good and on par with the other two seasons. Definitely worth watching if you like kinda creepy and dark shows.
I love creepy shows! i liked Muderhouse alot but i did give me the creeps bad! i can watch all the gore and every creepy movie/series but when it comes to paranormal and possession I take a pass!
I hate clowns more than anything but it sure won't stop me watching it! I don't get disturbed or creeped out easily either when watching stuff, but if I were in AHS land I'd probably be terrified every single day. :haha:
Clowns don't scare me at all. i hope the circus theme is centered around the 1930s. the height of the circus days. that would be super cool.

Kathy Bates' character is based off a real character, not sure about the other characters though. For season 4, if the rumors are true it's looking like they will film it in Sante Fe and it'll be kinda an old west type of carnival thing. One of the characters from season two (Pepper) was actually modeled after a character in one of my all time favourite films 'Freaks' who went by the name of Schlitze, if they are really drawing inspiration off that type of character, I'm thinking 20s/30s freak show type carnival madness.

Clowns don't really scare me, I just hate them and can't stand the sight of them. Bad circus experience when I was 5. lol

I wonder if the nude lippie could be Innocence Beware. But I'm not sure if they would repromote it this soon in another spring collection after Shop Cook.

I believe Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett's characters are based on the real people in NOLA, but they have been modified, meaning part of it in the show is based on truth and others are not. Angela's character Madame Leveaux (sic?) is based on a real voodoo queen. She wasn't a nice person. Just like LaLaurie. She sacraficed people for her own reasons from what I remember. I believe she used to torture/sacrafice children by telling their parents they are possessed and she can cure them. Yeah. Her cures were torturing, abusing and murdering them for money. If it's the same person I remember from my time in NOLA. I also don't believe LaLaurie and Leveaux were around at the same time period. I could very well be wrong with all of this. I'm too lazy to look them up right now.

I called mac queens center. Just out of being silly since I know they're famous for being "special" answer: no, we don't have any event planned. We don't know when FOf is coming out. I literally barked on the phone and hung up. Like legit "woof". I don't know where that came from I think I'm lacking sleep.... Anyway yea, I'll prob ask pro today or any of the NYC ones where I know people. Or check w my girl at macys to let me know
:roflmao:
for real... im kinda over it too... im not too into spring stuff anyway, pastels are bleh to me.. and to be honest: spring isnt my fav season anyway, here in nyc is just rainy and ugly and still very cold , we have maybe a week of real "springtime" weather and attitude and next day is 90 degrees and your face is melting... so back to bronzers, cream stuff etc...
I don't wear pastels either. I'll wear bolds and brights on my lips, but i don't do pastels. They literally make me nauseous.

Both Axeman and Marie Laveux are real characters.
