MAC's quality control needs a big kick up the behind! They're seriously slacking. There weren't any problems with the previous repromotes of Stereo Rose. As for Perfect Topping and Lightscapade not looking like the original releases because of price rises in ingredients, MAC needs to suck it up. Shouldn't their yearly price increases be more than enough to make up for any cost difference in materials?
Not sure I'll be backing up Stereo Rose if it's lighter. I won't be able to use it as a blush and I don't need another pale pink highlighter.

I feel you, I'm a total coral addict! Dreaming Dahlia just isn't doing it for me though I don't know. I think if I didn't have Hibiscus I would get it

Rose Lily is a light milky pink with a lavender hint to me & subtle tiny sparkles. I have pigmented lips and horrible lighting but applied sheer this lipstick is cute. Sorry I don't think I have a similar color to compare it to (slacking on the light pink game) and I apologize for the crappy pic quality/ lighting in advanced it was taken with front facing cam pics

Here's the thing: it may not look the same in the pan, due to a whole variety of issues, but the main thing is WILL IT LOOK THE SAME ON YOUR SKIN? When it's all blended together and applied, it doesn't look the way it looks in the pan anyhow. Frankly, I have a much earlier Stereo Rose from the 1st time it was repromoted and that thing is glittery and frosty and very old hat looking compared to the newer skin finishes that are so much more finely milled. If MAC does a new Stereo Rose that has all the benefits of the newer MSFs like Adored and Scene to be Seen, it's going to be a huge improvement, as far as I'm concerned.
If you don't already have Stereo Rose, want it, buy the new one and like the way it looks on you, where's the problem? The repromoted Lavender Whip was far better on me, because it wasn't as chalky.
I just don't think it pays to be outraged. Either you already have a ton of Stereo Roses and don't need another BU, or you do back it up now and won't need to open it for a while or you didn't have it before and will have a nice new MSF. If it's not exactly the same deep reddish orange shade of the older ones, there have been A LOT of other blushes and skin finishes that have come after that do what SR does, but better. I'm thinking about My Paradise, Modern Mandarin, Fiery Impact, Blazing Haute, etc. If you get it and don't like it, go ahead and return it or whatever. But even that's not worth being outraged.

It doesn't look like Hibiscus at all in that swatch. It's much more pastel. It's closer to Sushi Kiss than Hibiscus to my eye.Amazing swatches, thank you
Those of us who have Hibiscus don't need Dreamin Dahlia, right? Right?
