MAC A Fantasy of Flowers Collection (February 6, 2014)

Just bought rose lily I love pale milky pinks and lustres are my favorite. Im not sure why everyone is loving snap dragon ?? maybe i need to go see in person. May pick up a few more depending on my pay check. Was going to get petal power but it looks so similar to nars orgasm. May pick up that green pigment alluras swatch made it look very tempting but I am sad Lilly white is diff as I was hoping for the old one, but it does look pretty!

Well I think it's just DD and Snapdragon for me. I was tempted to get Sassy Moss, but realistically, I don't wear green on my eyes much because I have green eyes.

I have to say, this has been the most confusing Mac collection I've ever bought from lol I usually always know what I want but the lack of swatches totally threw me off. I used the overnight shipping code for the blush order I just did and I'm expecting that to ship out Mon and if it does it will get here with my original order for Tues. I want everything to come together I'm not used to placing separate orders for a collection lol

Now I'm wondering how close Dreaming Dahlia is to Tart & Trendy from AAO. They're the same finish and everything. Does anyone have both to compare? It would save me a trip to MAC on Thursday

I only have TT but TT is orange and DD is a coral so they're not similar.

I can't even. I'm sending it back. Even if it *would* look nice on me, it's the principle. They look like two completely different products. This is just wrong.

Every time I purchase something from MAC I feel conflicted because while I know they are good products, I can't stand the way they do business, I can't stand how they treat customers. I make it a point to not patronize any company that doesn't respect me.

This is a prime example of what I mean. I have no doubt this a good product, but these MSFs are not the same as the previous releases. Call them something else, so folks don't expect one thing and get something completely different. Of course they didn't send out press samples! Folks would have figured out these were different. It's shady. It's wrong.

Wow!! I knew from @erine1881's earlier comments that they would be different formulas but these products look absolutely NOTHING alike. I had a feeling when things were so hush hush that there was something off.. I'm really glad I skipped this PT since it looks so much like Soft and Gentle which I have. I hope those of you who aren't happy can return your products.. and if not, I hope you send a chastising email to MAC anyway!

Also, anyone who got the lipsticks, do the lipstick names on the boxes and labels have a 7R, 7P, etc. under the name? I've never seen that and I don't know what it's about..

I have to say, though I love Temptalia's swatches for the most part, sometimes her swatches are very sheer and she doesn't show how buildable a lipstick can be. We've already seen much heavier swatches. If I was going on hers alone I wouldn't even think of these lipsticks but the swatches of ladies on here are much different/better IMO.

I think Rose Lily is so pretty! It's really hard for me to find such a blue pink that's actually wearable. I just placed an order for Petal Power blush too, the gold shimmeriness got me lol

I just ordered Petal Power too! It looks beautiful on the allure beauty video and temptalia's review--plus it isn't nearly as frosty as I had originally thought and the gold is divine! Yay for my one item from this collection!
