I decided to order Dreaming Dahlia. I considered Heavenly Hybrid but it wasn't really wowing me. I have fuschia/berry lipsticks that I love, and I can't see it replacing any of them. DD just seems like an easy Spring/Summer lippie that won't require a liner or a lot of fuss. I'm happy with my little order lol.

I also finally signed up for Ebates. It does seem like a great program and I prefer to buy from Nordstrom, anyway, because they have such a great return policy. Thanks to the ladies who explained it a couple pages back!

Yea it's the lighting. It has veining of a light lavender. But swatches next to Soft and Gentle it looks the same

Will you be sending yours back? Mines showing the same as soft and gentle too. And ebates is the shizz... Haha I'm scheduled to get over $75 back this month since I referred my family and got a $50 bonus added to my check

So my final thoughts, I'm not happy at all and yes this will affect my purchasing for the future. I think if Chanel did this everyone would be more outraged because of cost. For me, I pay $30 for these msf's and I think if I got a pro discount it wouldn't have bothered me as much because it's the price of something that usually tells us to return it, keep it or throw in drawer. The way I see it is that it doesn't matter to me whether it was released before or not, if it looks like everyone else's or not, it's the fact that it does not look like the product they are selling on their website right now and that's not acceptable.

Agree 100%. You have every right to feel this way, I would too.
I'm thinking about skipping this collection completely now, to be honest. Wich will be kind of a big deal for me, since I have collected MSFs since I started buying MAC (except those that don't work for my skintone at all). Looking at the swatches, I don't really need a beige product like that.

Well damn. I thought I was off the hook for this collection, but I saw the swatches on Temptalia (Thanks Christine!) and am pretty much hooked. I get paid in Friday, so hopefully will snag Flare For Fantasy and Playful Petal. Perfect Topping maybe-if I can try before I buy.
