414 has blue in it that fiction doesn't, and lacks the grey that fiction has. I don't think they're close at all.

Ditto! I used to have fiction, it was the my first mac shadow. My sister gave it to me years ago. It was so old and somehow lost it's pigmentation. I chucked it many moons ago. Now i can finally replace it!

I'm wearing 414 today (working at home) and it's a crease/corner colour for me. Am I right that Fiction is muted enough to be an office friendly lid colour (rather like Sumptuous Olive or Greensmoke, although I know it's a different colour)?

Thats cool to read that like myself, Pink Poodle l/g was a first MAC purchase for many ppl here! I understand Pink Poodle l/s hasn't been around but why make the l/g part of this release if I can pick it up with ease today if I want???

I'm so excited for Glam. I love my pinky-reds! I'm out of foundation and concealer but after that I think I'm going on a MAC no-buy until this collection comes out.

The April 1st release date makes me a little nervous though, lol

I am going on record now. If I do not manage to snag the requisite 4 GLAMs due to website tomfoolery I am going to be beyond peeved. I totally dread the waiting room. I haven't been to MAC-land since ummm riri the first I think it was and I'm telling you if they haven't managed to improve things I will be freaking out. I have been leading a major campaign at every free standing as well as counter and online shop for this particular shade for a good 8 yrs. There isn't a single MAC counter person in the greater St Louis area that hasn't heard me ask about it.
