MAC A Fantasy of Flowers Collection (February 6, 2014)

Hello beautiful ladies! So I received my package today, and I have to say I'M IMPRESSED! I really like the lipsticks! Despite having my "tired face" , and 8am makeup still on, I decided to take a few pics wearing the new goodies. Left side of picture square 1: Heavenly Hybrid, omg to die for! My favorite out of all of them! Square 2: snapdragon, such a beautiful light pink with hints of lavender in it. :heart2: Also a favorite! Right side of picture Square 1: Dreaming Dahlia, definitely nothing like ablaze on me. A much lighter coral color. Pure love ! Square 2: stereo rose, not the original, not the one that came out with this collection , so I guess the one in the middle lol :haha: is to thought I'd throw a pic in there. Square 3: naked bud, much lighter than my lips. Love it as a nude, and I'm not a nude lip type of girl. this one applied a bit more streaky than the others but I like nonetheless.

Overall, I'm pleased! Can't wait to go to the store tmrw and pick up petal power blush, another heavenly hybrid, and choose a perfect topping oh, and because I loved heavenly hybrid so much, here's an extra selfie lol

I've decided to skip this collection altogether. I'ma be spending money in downtown ATL over the weekend with friends, and I'd rather be able to spend time with them than continue to ignore the stash of goodies I already have. XD

May I ask what you are wearing on your lips? is it Fleur d'Coral? If so- how did you get your lips to look so flawlessly, impossibly pillowy full?- if you say "it's just my irrepressible youth"- i just might cry a little..no worries

I'm looking at PT again... just don't want the disappointment of getting a Perfect Beige. I can't really go to a counter, so I'll have to order it online. Should I take the risk?

My azalea go back . Is just too light , we can use it like highligth but

I'll give it one last chance this Friday if not returns to Mac

sent my Azalea blush back. I loved the name too - I have Azalea bushes all around my house & I love them. The blush shade could have been SOOOO much prettier.

Well. I caved and ordered Petal Power. I think it's beautiful but, I might be feeling a little buyers remorse. I own Sleek Rose Gold and I think it might be VERY similar. But, I only own, one type of that blush. So, I guess I can justify it.

Of Course! I will swatch them both, as soon as I get PP. I had it shipped Second Day so, hoping I will have it by Saturday. If not Monday for sure.

I’m very happy I skipped this collection, I have no regrets. I was eyeing Petal Power but I think I am going to enjoy two of my Maybelline FIT Me blushes I bought last year instead. I predordered a bunch of things before the collection came out...and I didn't have a problem with it. Should I worry that they won't hold my items?

No no every Mac is different. Depends on your store. If they let you hold or preorder you're fine

Got my pt yesterday! I had the original years ago & it was one of the first msfs I completely used up, so sadly I don't have the old one to compare but any who personally I feel like it gives off that same effect like the last one. I'm in loveeee

188 still couldn't bring the color out for you? It's the perfect amount of pale pink for me, but that's a color I need to keep pretty subtle for my preferences. ​At least you have your PP!

I got the chance to wear PT today and I have to say I very much like it. I applied my makeup this morning in artificial light since it was still dark but I could see after applying Perfect Topping as a highlighter on my cheekbones it looked smoother than before I applied it. I cannot rave enough about how soft it swatches and how nice it felt on my skin. It looks beigey-peach on me which is perfect for me (NC30). If it had more lavender on it than it does, it probably would look too cool or too light. I already have Unconventional and I use it if I want a lavender fix. Overall, I'm happy with my Perfect Topping 2014 and I can't wait to use it again tomorrow.
