Yup. They're always quick to take the brushes when you're doing the makeup application, but then when you get to the register and they hear the total, the brushes are the first things to come off the pile.
So sad. It's great to have a bunch of nice makeup, but if you don't have the right tools to apply it, what's the point??

Oh I don't blame you for not taking the brush, especially if it looked funky! You definitely have to be happy with what you're purchasing.

Glad to hear things have been better at your MAC since the change of hands!

PN is pretty light. Not as pigmented as ripe peach. But if you can find it at a cco I say try it. As for ripe peach, in my opinion, it's over hyped. There's a lot of beautiful peach blushes that are far better from both mac and other companies. I do love the gradient look but I think this new blush will probably be better and be just what all you ladies want.
I will try to visit my cco next weekend. Wish me luck. Btw, I didn't buy RP the first time then I was left with skippers remorse, *story of my life* but PN looks beautiful. Do you think it will show on nc40 skin?

Yeah. I was only comparing it to RP it is more pigmented than PN I can try swatching it for you tomorrow. I'm brown lol so it should give you a good idea.

So do cco's keep stuff forever? Or...
I know, right? I circled around the store for an hour thinking I might be missing something. I didn't buy a single thing when I went there. I almost went to one in Camarillo when we were driving back from L.A. but we were too tired and I just wanted to get home. I still wonder what they had though...

YES!! Ugh that one is a dream killer! Lol not what I expected when I had heard great things about cco's That's what I thought too but it was the only one and seemed flat. Maybe that's why the person changed their mind because it was a lame looking brush. Maybe the bottom of the shipment but I wasn't taking any chances! My mac has since changed management and things are much better I've never ran into something like that again. It just weirded me out. I wasn't taking that brush lol. I can't even remember which it was I remember it's the skinny powder or blush one I can't remember but I was like no thanks lol. So do cco's keep stuff forever? Or...

So next time I go I'll be opening everything before I leave the shop!
You can get your money back for faulty items but it's a bit of a hassle. I bought a lipglass from the CCO and it was so rancid I couldn't bear to have it on my lips. I brought it back to the store and the SA couldn't refund my money but she gave me an address where I could ship the item along with my receipt. Once they inspected the item and agreed that it was expired, they refunded me by cheque. Hopefully it won't happen again, but if it does, you don't have to be stuck with a useless product.

I'm jealous of you ladies with good finds at your CCO's. We have one CCO here and it's about an hour from where I live and it SUCKS the majority of the time. Now and then I've found some good things, mostly its the Tartan Tale Crap and perm mac items.
