Great posts by both of you. I also realized that I buy make-up sometimes as a treat when I'm unhappy. Ordering online gives me something to look forward to. And I also like it because I've gained weight, so clothes don't look as good, but make-up still does! It's good to know that other people buy it for the same reason!

I HATE buying clothes! I've gained much weight the last year cause of some car injuries and so I buy makeup! it will still fit me 3 months from now, makes me feel better!

I feel ya after being pregnant i cant get rid of these extra 15 pounds o well guess i need to work out more i would rather buy makeup than clothes lol

I feel your pain! I'm still trying to lose my pregnancy weight and my baby is now 14 years old!

I agree. Its almost like filling an endless hole of-who-knows-what-is-missing in my life. I have a drawer full of new clothes that I say I will wear "On a special day or when I go out" lol it never happens though

Exactly! I order clothes online sometimes. Trying them on in a dressing room is too depressing. But make-up is so pretty and bright and always looks good. Yeah its probably different on an iPad but on the desktop theres a "quote" button

I understand. I hurt my back several years ago and have to take medication daily for it. I just keep gaining weight even though I don't eat much. It's so frustrating. I've been eating salads for a month now and haven't lost one pound. I need my make-up "picker upper".

I think just about every lipstick MAC has come out with in the past couple of years, all these new formula revisions, benefit from a light application. I've always dabbed, mainly because of my lip shape, but pretty much every MAC lipstick, from Lustre to Dazzle to Retro Matte, does better with one light layer, a minute to dry down and synch with the color and temperature of the lips, and then another light layer, if necessary, to even out.

Another good side effect is that my lipsticks take a long time to use up! Plus I find I don't have to reapply as often through the day.

The formula on these definitely feels great. Have you tried wearing them blotted down yet? DD in particular looks amazing as a stain!

Does it give you machine gun boobies? Because I want that!

Yes, I love DD as a stain. Its so lovely with peach & coral blushes.

-- it is a lustre and as such, I will be reappling every hour cause I am either talking, eating, or testing something. Lustres and glazes do not work for me

I went to the store yesterday and I was actually disappointed in the collection lippies. They just did not work for me, I was full on for buying SD but it didn't look right. DD made my skin look orange and RL didn't work out either. HH was actually the best one for me so I bought it. I think I'm just not girly enough to rock the others
