I purchased both SD and HH. I have been playing around with them and just realized that SD and Syrup are pretty close. Not exact dupes but close enought that I could create the same FofF look with Syrup. Its kind of making me loose the love I have for SD. At this moment DD and RL are really capturing my interest because I dont have colors similar to it in my stash. I dont want to be wasteful and have colors laying around that would just collect dust.

Also, though I like DD and RL, I was wondering if anyone could tell me of lippies that are basically the same color but in a different finish. It would be great to have these colors in a finish that wouldnt need so much reapplication. I would especially love another finish with RL! I never tried on a pink lipstick that looked good on me until this lippie. But it wears off super fast. Is there a color in the permanent line that is close to RL? I was looking and was wondering if Saint Germaine or Snob would give me the same look but in a more opaque applicaton. Can someone give me some leads please???

Here's Rose Lily and Snob. I actually wore Rose Lily over Snob last night bc Rose Lily wears off super fast if you're eating or drinking etc. They're not the exact same shades but I think they're close enough that Snob makes a good base for Rose Lily

Thanks for the swatch comparison. I am going to go and take a look at that combo the next time I go in. I really like RL and it would have been well loved in my stash if only it was a different finish. I was so annoyed when after wearing it for about an hour it came right off with one bite into a sandwhich. It looked as if I didn't put any lipstick on AT ALL. I had put a good layer of it on before I left the store to test the staying paying and it failed with flying colors.

That is so crazy how different lipsticks can look on different ski tones! My SD is an exact dupe for Bubblegum on me and looks NOTHING like Syrup. Syrup looks actually almost raspberry rose colored on me!

I feel the same about Rose Lily, I really love the color but it doesn't wear long on me either

L-R: MAC Creme D' Nude, MAC Fleur D' Coral, MAC Hue, Nyx Fun Size, Revlon Pink Lemonade

FDC was almost a mix between CDN and Hue. Definitely not as orange as some swatches I've seen had appeared!

Cupcake and Rose Lily are nearly identical. RL is just a bit brighter and slightly cooler.

Although in the tube they seemed different, Revlon BA and DD are very very close in the swatch. DD is sheerer than BA.
