I may have to check these out in person. Ok lol Hopefully you will get yours soon - it seems like its been forever.
I think that's a good idea.

I'm wondering if Adjust might be a better --it's a pretty pearly beige.

Keep in mind too that MAC has other color correction products throughout it's line. If these doesn't work, they have other correctors in their concealer palettes, their P+P pens, and they even make those little Studio Finish Skin correctors http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/157/4063/Products/Face/Concealer/Studio-Finish-Skin-Corrector/index.tmpl?SKU_ID=SKU10110

"Adjust is a peachy beige that will work fine as a lightweight tinted moisturizer of sorts to even skin tone, brighten, and provide a makeup-less look that’s very, very flattering if you do not suffer from major skin problems such as redness, blemishes, acne, etc….! This is actually my favorite shade of the four released."
I actually like the looks of adjust. Maybe it is close to FM

I still think some shades might be a bit too dark for you.

that's why I chose lavender.. to chase away Bert's yellow

Yeah, maybe so. I'm going to wait because I'm getting Chanels Lilas & Rosee & I have a feeling those may be better for my skin. I don't really have any skin issues but I always want to try something new. The lavender does seem to be the best but applied very lightly

I thought the orange Recharge liquid CC would be too dark for me--it does look dark in the swatches. The swatches in the ThisThat Beauty post look accurate to me from what I saw in the store. You can see that Recharge is pretty dark there. But the SA showed me how to apply it sheerly with the 159 and it's really good on my NC15 face. The Adjust powder is darker than my NC15 skin--it gives a very soft bronze effect (almost like a Chanel Healthy Glow powder between 20 and 30).

I was also thinking of picking up an Adjust liquid to use alone as a soft, sheer foundation. Then I was wondering if I should just use a glowy BB cream or tinted moisturizer instead. Maybe with the Adjust loose powder over it? As you can see, I'm very confused!!

I will say that I was lucky to get the SA that helped me. The other SA's didn't know much about the formula in that particular store. I think the one that helped me had gone through some pro training because she was about to transfer to a pro store. She said that I could use Adjust cream alone on my skin and I might be fine but that the Recharge would cover my discoloration best. I'm guessing that you are sort of in the same ballpark--Adjust is going to get you half-way home and be a nice compromise. But if you want the big-gun "get rid of it" effect, you could go for the Neutralize and then use a foundation over it. Or go for a different MAC's correctors (like in their Light Concealer palette, etc.) that is lighter in tone as Her Greyness suggests.

I may need another trip to a counter!!

MAC really does need to a video or two on these for their website.

Aggh, I feel the same way. Recharge worked for you! It looks so orangish/dark. I'm thinking that there are all kinds of artist tips for using these which is why the video would have been great. lol I was thinking along those lines... like why don't you just use your FM powder

I just ordered the Lavender with the 2nd day ship code

Yes, but I have to go back as you can see from the confusion in my earlier post. I think without trying them on, I wouldn't have gotten the one-on-one instruction. Like, she actually demo'd the Recharge liquid on the back of her super-light, warm hand (NC10?). It faded into her skin color nicely, leaving a sort of an orange glow that could be covered w/something light.

So, these liquids do sheer out nicely.
