Ummm...i use liquid foundation over the liquid colour corrector all the time without any problems. So liquid over liquid "not working" is BS.I'm a NC50 myself and I got Recharge. I wear it over the MAC BB cream and bye bye dark circles around the eyes. When I was talking to the sales rep, he suggested I use powder because liquid over liquid won't work and my skin is oily. This :shock:is too bad because you get three times as much liquid as you do powder for five dollars more.
I wish I liked Fast Response - it's so heavy - like Vaseline.I often use the MAC Fast response eye cream which has caffeine in it and mix it with whatever concealer I am using. I fluctuate between MAC prolongwear, CD Sculpt, Clarins Radiance, or NARS Radiance. If you need a salmony colour, BB has a few peachy ones as well as their highlighting concealer which comes in peach too.. .. and their bisque is also a peachy pink. Eve Pearl too has a good salmon coloured concealer but not sure if it has caffeine. You might need to mix with the Fast response no matter what.

Thanks for your input. As. result I did an experiment. I tried the liquid and the powder under each eye. Both worked well. The powder lasted longer, but I'm sure that happened because my skin is oily. I'm sorry the liquid is less effective on me because it's far and away the best deal among the MAC CCs.Ummm...i use liquid foundation over the liquid colour corrector all the time without any problems. Did you use the pressed powder or the loose? I'm having issues with the longevity of the liquid. I have mixed a touch of Pro Longwear concealer in with it, which helps but I'm up for other options. Thanks for your input. As. result I did an experiment. I used the loose powder. I applied it over the MAC BB cream. It really worked well to eliminate the dark circles under my eyes. I haven't tried it with Studio Fix, Studio Tech or any of the liquid foundations yet.Did you use the pressed powder or the loose? I'm having issues with the longevity of the liquid. Or under it? Many thanks for your help. It feels like if we can experiment with these products, we can understand them better?
Hmmm I'm interested in the yellow for redness of acne scars and a little blotchiness. Has any one used it for similar reasons or maybe another brand that might work for that? Any advice ladies? Thanks! Thanks love, will be trying it!The yellow is amazing for redness!
Using the lavender on the lips is such a brilliant move - and the great thing is: it's not drying at all! It did lighten my lipstick color, using Snapdragon, unlike something like P&P Lip, but it's going to be really awesome under colors that have a little too much brown. I find it a little more breathable feeling that P&P Lip (which makes sense - that stuff has silicones in it).I just got & tried out the Lavender Illuminate CC cream. It works fantastic around the eyes - under eye ruddy/blueness/circles/yellow tones/veins. I felt like I almost didn't need to use concealer. It really brightens the eye area. It has a very subtle light reflective luminosity to it. I really really love love it over my lips!I have very pigmented mauvey lips & this over them subdued the coloring, evened the tone out & made the lipstick I applied over it truer in color & stay put better.![]()
The consistency is very lightweight not heavy or cakey
Yes, it feels like nothing on but definitely made a beautiful difference on my lips. I also felt that my lipstick did not fade away even after quite awhile. My lips feel very smooth tonight after wearing it. No dry lipsI'm NC15 otherwise, if that helps you. I don't really mind the discoloration - it's like having natural eye shadowI actually seek out sheer eyeshadow to blend with it, rather than trying always to cover it up. I still do cover it up sometimes if I'm wearing foundation and going for a particular look, but I don't mind it on it's own. I'm not sure if the new CC cream has lightening agents in it or not (Laura Mercier CC does and they work pretty well), but if so, maybe you will get the added benefit of decreasing the coloration over time!
If your coloring is different than mine, you may need one of the other CCs instead of the yellow - I'm sure one is going to work well!

Hergreyness, this is the first time I've gotten to see your face. You are such a beautiful woman! Just wow!
Ty Singer82.. you are a beautiful woman too!.. if you have pale skin and redness, I think the yellow tone would be best, or the neutral.. I really think you should try this on if possible. I am using the lavender and it's good for me because my undertones are quite yellow. :meh:
