These look more chubby than the packaging hergreyness showed up. Looks more in line with velvetease packaging

my packaging.. if it can be called that, are testers only. I never know what the actual product packaging will be. I would hope they would be in colours coordinating with the product

I know it's really irrelevant to the product/formula it encases, but that packaging is darned cute. If all is well with these Patentpolishes, these might be the items that really challenge my low-buy...

Kittenish – mauvey pink
Pleasant – rosy pink
Patentpink – washed out lilac
I will probably order 1 to try and if I love the formula.. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it I guess. But I am really trying to stick to my #teamlowbuy goals.

It sounds and looks like MAC is doing pencils/crayons the best way. I have quite a few of the NARS and Urban Decay ones, but I'll try these because I love the no- sharpening feature.I think.. that these are the patent polish ls. I never really know what I have worked on 24 mos prior, but will share with you guys what I do have. I think there are two other colours but I cannot find them now as they are filed away. The containers are the very same as the greasepaints.. they slide up when you move on the bottom. they are slick and shiny even tho my pics with no sun don't do them justice.. staying power is amazing. That is one reason why these are more expensive. sorry for the messy sticks -- these are still working testers and sunlight is scarce. Gotta get back to work! hth

I went from not being interested in these to ''OK, I'm checking out the nude'' to now getting kinda excited for them.

Never fear, #teamlowbuy cheerleader is here. I'm feeling the pull of these as well.. My low buy goal is not to deprive myself but be much more selective in what I buy and get more use out of my stash. I'm going to order 1 online and try it out before the in store launch. Then if I do fall in love with them I can decide if I want to get more from there. I'm working on using up 5 of my older lippies before then so if I do that I might be able to justify 1 or 2 more of these for summer.

I know what you mean.. Make sure to take those much needed steps back and think about if it will add that much more value to your stash. I'm interested in the taupe CCB and nude eye pencil as well as a few other bits and pieces so I need to really think about what I'm bringing in and if it will be worth it.
