Hi Ladies! After lurking like a creeper in this forum for days, I decided to finally join the discussion.

I ordered all the by request lippies even though I never find myself wearing bright lips... I feel like MAC sucks me in every time with their limited edition shades (I'm all "but what if I want to wear it... sometime..) haha I think I need to join team low buy.

Anyway, my lippies will be here tomorrow, and I've seen requests for swatches on us palies. I don't wear mac foundations, but am a nc15 in the prolongwear concealer. I'd be happy to swatch them for you.

!!!!! Have absolutely no doubts it will be a favorite and get snatched up by my girlfriends (if I am feeling generous haha!)

Despite my girl [@]mosha010[/@]'s best preaching, I broke my self imposed no buy and got glam and pink poodle lipstick. No hoop for me. I got all the glasses, though. Shame on me. However, I've seriously paired down on Playland and cannot go hard on AA at all. Special packaging pricing is going to be an issue for me.

That would be great! I don't think I've gone quite this crazy since FOL! LOL! Mac has not put out an everyday mid-tone pink Matte in YEARS! Cannot wait to hear what you think!

I just got my order. I am a little sad. I got all three lipsticks, and they are all nice, but Hoop looks more similar to Chatterbox than I had anticipated. They are VERY similar. Somehow, the finishes don't even seem THAT different.

Edit: Maybe they are different enough to justify having both. The Hoop dries down more matte after a few minutes (but seems very creamy at first) and it is a little warmer and lighter than Chatterbox.

Yes! I saw a You Tube gal do this long drawn out review of VG Nicki and she brought up Chatterbox and also Vegas Volt as colors that come to mind....

Not to say I was saying Chatterbox and Nicki are dupes for eachother in my post earlier..... They are all in the same family I guess. But it is crazy how VGN and Chatter box look on your tone compared to @luvprettythings

Thanks for the swatches and comparisons ladies! As far as VGN and CB, I guess what it all comes down to is skin tone and lip pigmentation!

I'm super excited about getting butterscotch...I think it will be great on my skin tone! I'm getting 2...kinda trying to keep myself from getting 3 lol. I think I'll get fiction since I have the old one. I read that this new release has a better formula (formula was the main reason I didn't use the last one much). It is a great fall color. I feel like I have colors similar to diesel.

I didn't get any of the eyeshadows... I considered butterscotch, but I just don't think it would work on my skintone. Fiction and Diesel I feel like I have colors similar in my collection already. I'm trying to stop myself from buying ALL of the lipsticks and casual colors from the Playland collection... and limit my AA purchases. Honestly, I'm not sure I need anything from the AA collection, but the packaging is going to be my downfall!

I've never owned a Givenchy lipstick, but Rose Dressing looks gorgeous.
