Lol. I wish that collection would've available online here.

It looks perfect on you!

It's weird, I had a feeling they would mess up orders and send the wrong blushes...
Well, that's what happens when you rush the process on a backordered item. Mistakes happen!

Emergerd. I wonder if the clearance bin will be exploding with exchanges. I backed up OC, but I really wanted to back up SB. I didn't use the NEXT code, so I have no idea.

So I wonder if this is happening with the Nordstrom, Macy's, etc. orders???
I would hope not!

I actually just noticed, having looked back in my boxes, that that my OC blush is in the box with the SB packing label, and both SB's were in the boxes with the OC labels. So it definitely seems like a switcheroo problem.
oooo i bought both separately too i wonder if that's why everyone is getting them backwards. Did anyone get what they ordered?

my SB is still in the black MAC box it came in. i can check in a few. i swatched it and put it back in because i wanted to use the OC

Not like they can send them out to ppl after they are returned. It's not very hygenic. They don't know what the person did with the product or of it was tampered with before they sent it back.
This is true.

For those who have to send one back in hopes of getting a replacement, maybe you should do what another member suggested here: Perhaps arrange a swap for the right blush shade? This is only if MAC can't replace the item for the correct one and won't let you keep what was mistakenly sent to you.

With all these mistakes I'm starting to become extremely worried that my OC is going to turn out to be SB. I'm obsessively checking the tracking so when it arrives I can rip the box open and see. I honestly do not have time to go to my counter and get one, so if it's wrong, MAC better have a replacement ready. And just when I thought this collection turned out to be stress free...

I *think* you should be okay, but with MAC, who knows. Were they separate orders or both blushes in one order? Either way, even it's a switch up, they should be able to see that you ordered one of each blush and not be so dense as to pack two of the same kind.
It was all in one order thankfully. And I had a very nice MAC rep on the phone upgrade me to the complimentary overnight shipping because I forgot to add the code at checkout. I'm supposed to receive my package tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me please!
Makes me wonder if Ocean City was supposed to be the pink blush and Sunset Beach was actually the orange one, which would make more sense since the orange color reminds  you of an actual sunset. I am thinking everyone who ordered the orange one is going to end up with the pink, which is just crap! :barf:
EXACTLY! I think you are on to something here!

Emergerd. I wonder if the clearance bin will be exploding with exchanges.I ordered 2 SB's, and 1 OC. Now I'm wondering if I'm getting two OC's. I didn't use the NEXT code, so I have no idea.

I doubt. It sounds like there was technical glitch somewhere along the lines or the product code for the two blushes was probably entered wrong in the system

Are there any other pros in here who were told over the phone when ordering that the pro discount would apply, then told once it shipped that customer service had it wrong and the higher ups corrected them after? I feel like this has been handled VERY poorly. I would have purchased regardless, but not multiples. And being explicitly told one thing, then another after the fact is never okay in my book--especially when customer service acknowledged they were originally told it would apply then after that it wouldn't. Oh MAC *sigh*
I called around 6:30 am pacific time (9:30 eastern), and they were very clear that the pro discount wouldn't be applying at that time.

Whoa. That is not good...
Just when you think the stress of this collecton is finally over it only gets worse.

True, but the warehouse can send them back to whomever packaged them so they have proof that it wasn't their f-up and whomever packaged them is liable for the cost of the mistake. Just a guess.

If it's really because of the boxes being labeled wrong, then the other sites will probably send the wrong ones, too.

You know, my mom said that to me also. I didn't even think of it. I ordered just Ocean City because it looked like a sunset and it was orange. If they send me the pink one by mistake I'll take it. I don't want to create problems and I can handle either one. I am shocked reading that these mistakes are happening. When I get my blush, I will let you gals/guys know which one I end up with. Oh goodness.
