Maybe it's just me, but I don't find it accebtable to have to wait 2 days to even a week for a reply. I don't get what takes so long, they should just offer a refund right away and let the customers keep whatever they have been sent. I think it's highly unlikely that they will be able to still send everyone the correct blushes, I doubt they have 300-500 extra ones.
I mean I *get* it in the sense that this is a massive issue and they don't have an immediate solution to help fix things. Of course the reality is once you've screwed up its never going to please a customer to hear 'Give us 2 more days to figure this out'. Uh, what? People get emotional when it comes to things they buy and the money used to buy them. MACs just in a bad place right now because there's a number of things going wrong (wobbly lipsticks, poor pigmentation on some blushes, incorrect items shipped, DEAD FREAKING BUGS IN BOXES!!!!!) so right now everything they're doing looks bad.

Honestly, I think at the end of this story they'll have to be go back to the factory, make some more blushes and ship people's CORRECT stuff in a month. I just don't think they have enough available items on hold. I also think its interesting that this is like with the Riri issue and melted lipsticks. MAC messed up but then they started saying, "Well after this we want to see photos of your damaged item and have you ship it back to us". No, no. If you have a problem you bite your bottom lip, admit shit went down, and try and do better. Don't think asking folks to send you back hundreds of never used, incorrect blushes is going to solve things. They'll have to be destroyed anyway.

This whole thing is a turn off for me especially the dead bugs. I think after the summer collection that's it for me for a while.

My counter has been really tight about holding LE items but I might have to call and ask and explain the situation.
I am in the same boat as you. Mine was shipped standard (I forgot to use the code). It was marked as "Order Processed: Ready for UPS" at 9:08 yesterday, but it wasn't picked up until 5:15 by UPS (hours after everyone first reported receiving the wrong blush). I hope that they double checked all the packages that hadn't been sent out yet to fix any that they could, but I doubt it. They probably didn't realize how wide spread the problem was even then. My package will be delivered tomorrow, so we'll see.

I just ordered via Nordstrom because I really want OC. Nordstrom has cancelled a couple of my orders before, so I am not holding my breath for them either.

Good lord what in the world is going on....I am really glad I didn't order from MAC!! Even though I am still waiting for Nordstrom. Did anyone else see T.'s F rating for the pink blush? Is it really that bad, anyone have it already?

RIGHT she said that in 24-48 hrs that they'd hopefully have a resolution. and then hopefully they'd send me the right one. I said oh well can't you refund instead of even bothering. she goes but you'd still have a blush. and I said a wrong one. she goes but you still have it. wtf

I'm honestly thinking that if MAC doesn't come up with a solution by this weekend I will just return the Sunset Beach and call it a day. I really want Ocean City, but it takes the joy out of getting it if I have to wait forever or go to my counter to get one. Even if MAC decides to give a refund and let people keep the incorrect blushes, I don't care because if I wanted SB, I would have ordered both blushes. I honestly hope after this fiasco that they take a long look at what is causing all the issues and find a solution if they are going to continue to release collection after collection.

I think I might just cool off on buying stuff from LE collections and just focus on other brands and get some of the perm MAC items that I've been wanting.

That's crazy!!! I hope they a tleast have a plan tomorrow

I saw the swatches on Temptalia but her lighting is too warm so it's hard to tell the actual difference between shades. I also saw elegant-one's photo but I don't have SLV. Thanks anyway!

She using hopefully loosely Im not holding much hope at this point
