I didn't check to see if anyone else posted this, but I emailed when I got sent the wrong blush. Here's what they wrote back:

Quote: We appreciate the opportunity to explain that while processing your recent MAC Cosmetics Online order, an error occurred which resulted in the wrong shade of the Proenza Schouler Collection Blush Ombre being added to your order. We are so sorry to disappoint you and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

We are currently working to obtain additional supplies of the Proenza Schouler Collection Blush Ombre. We expect to confirm availability of additional supplies by early next week and we will send an update via email.

If additional supplies become available, we will be happy to send a replacement to you. If additional supplies are not available, we will issue a credit for the Blush Ombre shade you received in error. You do not need to return the item to receive the replacement or the credit. We expect to confirm availability of additional supplies by early next week.

I'm catching up on this thread and I feel faint after seeing that bugs pic. I will NEVER look at a MAC shipping box the same way.

My OC from Nordstrom shipped today! I figured it would ship sooner than the backorder date so I'm happy about that. I just wish they would have shipped everything together. My samples shipped yesterday and it looks like the blush was sent out later that evening actually. So wasteful. But I'm happy to be receiving it soon!

exactly! and i was so young i was aloud to shave! i thought having arm hair was normal! i still do i guess cause i have blonde hair lol i grew up with a single mother so part of me didn't want to tell her cause i was ashamed and the other part didn't want her to take on the extra stress of having to worry about me we also barely saw each other cause the rent is too damn high in new york and she was always working multiple jobs
I just saw this now. So sad! Kids are so innocent, of course you wouldn't think it was wrong to have that. And honestly I wonder who decided women needed to shave their arms and legs, anyhow? What was the problem with hair?

This sounds reasonable. They are probably trying to get more manufactured. Can you imagine what this is costing them financially? If that distribution center isn't part of the MAC/Estee Lauder companies I have a feeling they will be fired! I would. I'm crossing my fingers that they can get more and that everyone will get the blush that they wanted!

It's nice to see that they are trying to take care of their customers and get them the right blushes. It was a horrible mistake, of course. Still, I hope they pull this off for everyone!!

I wondered about the Fulfillment Center too ..... it seems like a lot of recent problems have been tied back the center. I doubt that they are staffed by MAC or EL employees. More than likely it is a contract job and I wonder if a new company has picked up the contract and that is why we are seeing all these problems?

Is this the same facility that handles distribution for Chanel.com? Losing orders, not crediting returns, ship label problems that sent one package to limbo for a week or two. That one? If so, I'm not so sure they'll be fired.

Incidentally, I'd love to see your artwork. I love art.
Omg, how terrible! I love your pictures! And yeah, they're too scared to ever use anything identifying.

Art is so personal, I put it out there for my readers and to sell. For somesome to trash it with no helpful criticism was hard. And since you asked, here are my latest pieces. They are meant to be for children, and some are child-like with a weird twist. I am working on a gallery show right now.

AutumnMoon, your art work is just amazing.

That is a talent I wish I had, ontop of a few others. I just admire those who have unbelievable talent. Thank you for sharing.

I agree with you 100%! quote name="awickedshape" url="/t/185094/mac-x-proenza-schouler-april-24-2014/4350#post_2609680"] Hi I have read about T on Gg and it is just beyond criticism of her blog, it was really aggressive and made me feel uneasy enough to stop reading. Really hateful and personal attacks. There's even stuff about her then-fiancée and gleeful name-calling etc I find the blog to be quite helpful and in the end it is my decision on how I feel about getting a product. Disagreeing with someone's opinion is one thing but I don't know how it got so personal for some people.[/quote]

OMG! My ladies. I am also on #TeamWasBullied. It wasn't too bad as I got older. It was really bad when I was a child. I was a deathly shy child. Also, I have two brothers that had learning disabilities. My mother is hearing impaired and comes from The Netherlands, so she has an accent and my dad also had a learning disability. He still managed to support a stay at home housewife/mother with three young children. Due to all these issues, I was picked, teased, beaten up. Also, my hair was blonde, thick and curly. My mom always kept it too short. I looked like a boy and I couldn't say "girl" until I was about 8 years old. I was also such a small thing. I started suffering from depression when I was about six. I never really discussed it with my family as they probably wouldn't have understood. It was really bad having two brothers in special ed. classes. Even teachers thought I was stupid just because I was shy & quiet. It all changed for me in the sixth grade when I actually punched a kid in the mouth. I'm not a fighter by any means, but it just became too much. I also was able, when I got older to get revenge on a few teachers that were part of the bullying problem. It's so sad when adults allow children to bully others & also help them bully. I mean, they are suppose to be a form of authority and protection. I never trusted any teachers growing up. They were part of the problem not the solution. I still suffer from depression. I suffered from a lot of other horrible things. Ladies, we are all beautiful. We have good hearts, good souls and are good people. Let the haters hate. That is all they can do because their lives are so pathetic and miserable. At least we have each other here. Our love for makeup, animals, fashion, etc will help us get through whatever needs to be. We support each other.

I love your art! You are very very good! So much detail. Do you paint these, or is it drawn? (I guess I should ask what media you use.)
I mainly use acrylics, but the black and white is charcoal. And thank you, I blushing you guys!
Don't blush, AutumnMoon, be proud!!! I love the artwork you posted. I wish I had a smidge of your talent! Make up is about the only artistic thing I ever do.

I am SO glad that I am not one of their CS reps. Can you imagine the wrath they've been dealing with since this happened? I've waited tables, worked in retail, and technical support, so I know how mean people can be.
Oh, it has got to be bad. I feel for you, that had to be terrible to take crap for something you really have no control over. I have no idea about the distribution center, that could be a whole other piece to the chaos pie.

I called my counter and the MA was nice enough to hold a OC for me until I get off of work. I'm not patient enough to wait around for MAC to get it together. If they send me the correct blush, fine, if they give me a refund, even better. I'm glad this is almost over lol.

This is why I DO NOT LIKE MY COUNTER. I called another store in her face and she said it DOES. So I told the lady if she could go to the back and get it and she lied and said they don't have it at all. I TALKED TO A GIRL WHO CONFIRMED LAST NIGHT THEY HAD THE BLUSHES AND SHE PHYSICALLY CHECKED. I really try to be nice and not got off because I work retail but I always make sure to so my JOB. The counter I called will hold the bluh for me but now I have to go out of my way. Hmmm.
