I'm crossing my fingers that they can get more and that everyone will get the blush that they wanted!

I thought the same thing. This mix-up probably IS costing them a lot of money and sadly, someone probably will lose their job over it.

The whole reason I bought the second pink blush was for my daughter in law for Mother's Day and now I'm afraid this wont be sorted out by then.

why even bother sending the blush at all if you're only going to send one? How is that possible? I remember when Riri came out and I went to Macy's to pick up TTT and they said they only received 5 and they had all been pre sold prior to the official in store release smh

Thank goodness I only wanted sunset beach. The orange was chalky on my tone and I have lots of orange blushes that puts ocean city to shame. The young lady in front of me purchased it .

I did comparison pictures a few pages back. Mangrove isn't like either. SLV is way more orange than Mangrove. Mangrove is more red

mg: What is up with Mac?! :shock: People receiving empty boxes? Even worse boxes with dead bugs?! hboy: That is SO disgusting! Mac should be ashamed of themselves. What happened quality control? Good grief! I hope everyone gets what they ordered, and Mac makes up for it, by letting everyone keep the items they received incorrectly. I ordered Ocean City. I didn't use the overnight code. My package was suppose to be here today, but I got a message from UPS that it got delayed so it will be here tomorrow. I checked the tracking on the UPS site, and it appears that my package was sent back to the warehouse after it shipped initially, then sent out the next day. So hopefully they fixed my order and it will arrive correct tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!

I was the only one this morning in the Mac store. I bit off more than I can chew of what my purchases. I tried on both blushes on each cheek with a 168 brush and they're very pigmented. At first, I swatched it on my hand and it is a chalky consistency without the use of a brush. I brought both of my Nars blushes in Torrid and Desire to compare the difference; Torrid is more corally,warmer and shimmery while Ocean City is more a cool undertone, orangey and vivid minus shimmer. Desire is more of a darker magenta pink while Sunset Beach is more of a vivid cool pink with a hint of magenta. I hope this helps! PS, I also bought Woodrose and Pinkfringe lipsticks. They are gorgeous! I also got 3 out of 4 nail lacquers: Thimbleweed, Dayflower and Bougavilla. They exceeded my expectations!!!

I just called my counter too and they said they are on backorder. This counter always gets tonsss of stock for every collection. Hmmm I wonder if Mac is having them send back all the blushes?

So I woke up this morning and girded my loins for what I thought would be the Makeup Hunger Games. I got to the store 10 mins before it opened and there was NO ONE there. I could see the staff through the window getting ready for opening. I looked around and I could see the Proenza Schouler display to my far right. Everything was right were they were supposed to be...except the blushes. At five minutes till someone else approached the doors and promptly at 10 am they let us in. We both go to the PS display. I ask if they got any of the blushes and the MUA tells me they don't have any and they never got a reason as to why they didn't get any. The girl that came in with me was like " oh HELL NO!" She then starts to say they need to get it together as they pushed back this release. She needs the number for the Pro Store because she will go there to get the blushes. I told her they won't even answer the phone until 11. She said she will get the lipsticks here and then go there for the blushes. I grabbed a Brown Script pan, left, and wandered my way over to Nordstrom. They had the blush. I bought it.
