 Ok, just talked to Mac customer service and wanted to update everyone. I did explain to her that I was told I could return the wrong blush or keep both and pay for the other. I also stated there were others who this happened to and they were told to keep the blush or receive refunds. She said this was probably before the got info on what to do and before the numoreus calls started lol . So I can keep the blush or get a refund, I think she claimed a supervisor had tried to call, but my # was incorrect. Also if you received the wrong blush the new inventory should arrive sometime or later this week. They are waiting to hear from the Corp office, as to what to do and if there is enough inventory. So if you released the wrong blush you should get your correct one, next week. HTHeace:

@awickedshape yea, I guess I was probably one of the first to call about the mistake lol. I called right after I got my items. So maybe next week everyone will have the correct items.

I must say that I really love both blushes I'm glad I didn't pass them up but I went to the counter yesterday and tried pink fringe and I wasn't feeling it on me. That was the only one I was really looking into.

I'm still too new for CB access but maybe I'll try when I'm allowed in... Seems like everyone who would want them would buy them through other means though, right? The collection hasn't even sold out at department stores or MAC.


I always feel terrible returning things but you're right. I need to make sure I don't get caught up in packaging/collection buzz and make smarter purchases to reduce waste.

Well that is something we all are guilty of, no matter how long your been alive!

If you love make-up hun, its just part of the reason why, I mean who could resist that beautiful packaging right?

... I told myself no lipsticks and what did I do? I ordered mangrove and pink fringe! that's 44.00 and I don't even really like either of them and now I'm regretting not getting woodrose everyday, I'm 49 and still get caught up in the beauty of packaging!! ...

finally received my order..got both blushes and mangrove...everything looks so pretty but Mangrove came dented on the sides and smushed a bit at the top as it had fallen out of the tube..that's driving me crazy!

So I got the wrong items too but haven't been online. I ordered mangrove, Pinkfringe, Woodrose and Ocean City. LOVE the lippies. I have nothing like Pinkfringe. I LOVE Woodrose. It is only slightly different from Flair for Finery. It is a smidge greyer but I love that about it. Mangrove is great but on me is like a better applying Scarlet Ibis. I ordered Ocean City from Nordies the day it went up, and again 3 days later. Both have canceled but I was sent samples for both orders. I ordered it from Macy's and it arrived today and is amazeballs. It is not an exact dupe of Ripe Peach on me but is equally gorgeous. It is like Ripe Peach 2.0 in that it is more finely milled and a bit nicer IMO. Swatches and blends like a dream. I just requested a refund since I do not need a backup.

Sunset Beach that I got by mistake is totally a bummer. I would not say an "F" but probably a "D" for the one I got would be pretty accurate. It is stiff, not easy to blend or apply no matter the brush and even on NW18 it is only the lightest flush.

Mangrove (top) Scarlet Ibis (bottom)

SI is a little more orange where Mangrove is a little more blue based in the swatch but on, it is sooo close but Mangrove does apply better.

Mangrove is stunning ( so is Scarlet Ibis of course ^^ ) ! Proenza Schouler is a pretty collection, everything is sold out here.

I just wore Mangrove today. It's pulling almost identical to Lady Danger on me.

At least I like Lady Danger.

Yes I looked at Lady Danger and Scalret Ibis next to Mangrove today and Im doing my best to resist- I keep telling myself that having only one square-shaped lipstick will irk the OCD in me....

Oops and for reference I'm a 177 in MUFE HD foundation, I haven't been matched by MAC in a long time so I'm unsure about my foundation shade there but I have yellow undertones.

I'll post pics when I have a sec, but woodrose and mangrove look AMAZING with my pale NW skin, pink fringe looks okay, but seriously, mangrove and woodrose are fabulous. I was so worried they would only work on NC

Does everyone who has mangrove think it's like lady danger? Lady danger looks hideous on me but a lot of these swatches look more red than orange too me-- trying to decide if I need it.. .anyone?
