Well I got an email that a MAC item will be delivered next week and then an email from MAC indicating that my OC was shipped. The tracking numbers match, so I'll see what's going on next week Tuesday/Wednesday.

I don't wear mac foundation, but I use Nars Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc and I actually liked Ocean City on me. At first I wasn't sure, but when I tried it a second time I used a lighter hand and blended it a bit more and I ended up liking it. It actually didn't end up looking super orange which is a good thing. I might be careful about which lip color I wear it with though.

Has anyone that hasn't received a cancelation notice from nordstrom hear anything from them? I still haven't received a cancelation notice or anything.
I ordered when the blushes first went up and received mine Monday. I wonder what's going on with Nordstrom and these cancelled/delayed orders though. I ordered a few Playland lipsticks on the 17th that were backordered until the 5th but I just received a delay email too. Although some of the same shades appear to be in stock with no backorder notice. I'm confused as to how they're handling their orders

Getting sunset beach would be playing it too safe!
Haha Ocean City is definitely more unique than Sunset Beach although SB is really nice on the pale, cool-toned. I have pretty red cheeks so I have to be careful with blush as a lot of them emphasize the redness but SB just adds a nice natural flush without making me look more red. OC didn't emphasize the redness either.

For everyone whose Nordstrom order was cancelled you might try calling costumer service. I had a different backordered item cancelled and they are having a store with stock ship it me. Maybe you'll get lucky. Hope this helps!

Got this e-mail a few minutes ago too. I don't want to get my hopes up but I did get my samples on Thursday. Wonder if Nordstrom will cancel my order even after the samples shipped

Honestly, I'd call the Nordstrom Beauty Hotline and see if they can get you something from a sales floor. I've had Nordstrom come through and ship after emails like this, but if you do want the product and don't want to wait lots and lots longer, I'd see if there is anything that can be done sooner (before they sell out at counters).

They are ombré through and through, so if you brush loose powder off the top they should still be ombré. I am not swirling mine. I use the top and the bottom as different colors. I haven't used the pink one yet, but do like the orange one, as i've been going through my box of peach lipsticks...

I received my Sunset Beach yesterday! I actually ordered it by mistake because of Belk's pic for the blushes being switched, but I'm happy I got it! :)
I wore it today with Heaux lipstick, and it went together so well. Mine was very smooth, and soft-looking on, not like Prom Princess which I have to use with a lighter hand.

I'm around NC 35 right now, btw.

I purchased Pinkfringe tonight, after thinking about it for a while. I'm afraid to say I don't love it...It's just okay, in my opinion. I should have stuck to my guns and avoided buying it.

Can you post a pic? Everything always looks good on you and I'm regretting not purchasing it.

I received my correct blush (Sunset beach) Friday, but haven't worn it yet. My OC was very stiff & like paper smooth, so I remember reading someone said they had to scrap a layer off? I actually had to do that to get the product to apply & show...smh.

Both of my blushes were like that, but I had no problems getting product on a brush. I wore OC yesterday for the first time and I had no issues, but today is a completely different story. I tapped my brush into it and that's when I noticed it has developed that hard top layer that sometimes happens to powder products.

Now I do have oily skin, but I wash my brushes after using them and make sure to blot my face before I use powder products. I don't like having to scrap away product, so I am very careful to not let powders develop that hard layer. This is the first time it has happened in a very long time and I'm just not sure what more I can do to keep it from happening again.

I all honesty if I had received the correct blush when I ordered, I would be sending it back for a refund. I would feel awful sending both blushes back at this point after MAC let me keep SB, so I will just keep them. Now I have two perfect summer blushes that I more than likely will have to wear during the fall and winter months when my skin isn't producing so much oil.

Thanks for the input, this has actually been the first blush I've had like this. I wash my brushes as well and have normal skin, it was just so slick. I wondered about the color payoff when I swatched it on my lil one and she's very much lighter than I. I just scraped it with my 109 and applied from the particles, it's a beautiful color and was pretty on. Considering I didn't order OC and didn't pay for it, I don't mind the marks if that's what it takes to make it work
