MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

I wanna do a full face with my goodies but I have 10 days until my birthday. I am trying to wait. Last year was so much easier.

Here are quick swatches; my cell phone washes color out HORRIBLY and these pics do the items NO JUSTICE. Both colors are deeper /richer and more pigmented than they are showing up. SaS isn't at all chalky/ashy/too light, what have not, on my NC 50 skin tone. I will be rocking this as well, as a soft, natural color. Both are just ONE swipe as well. i keep texting my mom and asking if the box is there! they only live about an hour away.
she usually sneaks things away from my mom. they both got the bronzer from.. neo sci fi?? maybe? mac collection where everything was neon orange packaging.
anyway, my sister finished hers and then took my mom's! she does it with other things too.

OH OMG you know what she takes??
empties so she can back to mac! i saved empties for a long time but never ever had six... BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS TOOK THEM

If anyone has a swatch of Lorelei that would be great! Is it more of a light pink or gold? Because it some pics it looks straight up gold and some pics make it look pink. Because I'm deciding between Sea worshiper and Lorelei. Silver sun looks fantastic though and probably sticking to that. All the eye shadows look great, but I can't justify spending that much on all of them when I have SMHM, PMP, GotS, Delphic already on my list to buy in store. I want to get two shadows.

same here... i buy that color all the time, and i have literally every UD palette so i couldn't justify it.

SS is way, way, way more pigmented on me than TM is. SS gives me a great silver sheen without giving a frosty look to my lips. No other lippy has done that.

SS is very versatile:

2 passes = nice sheen similar to TM, yet lighter and more summery
4 passes = transparent silver sheen (at least on mauvey lips)
6+ passes = pearlized nude effect
15+ passes = frosted mess aka the blogger who shall not be named. But I,m still grateful for her rating/application as it meant that SS would last for a quite a while before it sold out.

It all depends on your complexion. That's why it pulls differently in each swatch. HTH

I just tried out my goodies & I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything! The textures of the eyeshadow & blush are simply amazing! Soul Serenade is such a sexy smokey my kind of shade

I like sets of 3:

1 for my kit
1 for travel
1 as a BU in case the above gets lost or damaged.

But that's just me.

I'm so glad my sister that I live close to doesn't take my stuff when she comes over. I would literally give her anything and I do mean ANYTHING out of my collection that she wanted because she has never taken my stuff without asking.
