I have a lot of redness on my face naturally especially the cheek area and my favorite primer has to be the Boots No 7 anti redness primer. I Then put the whipped colorstay on with the flat top kabuki and use the Mac prolong wear concealer in nc15 if I need to cover any pimples and dark circles. Personally though just the anti redness and the foundation makes a big difference with the redness and you can't even see it.

I'm watching some of your videos Mandy, can I just say red balloon looks amazing on you as a red. So pretty!
Thank you! I love that one, and I haven't worn it enough. I know a lot of people thought it looked like Girl About Town, but I don't. Girl About Town is much cooler toned on me. Also, sadly, I haven't been able to find my Girl About Town for weeks now. I'm really bummed.

Since we are (or were) on the topic of foundation, I'm a bit confused on where I am in F&B. I'm 128 in MUFEHD and want to purchase F&B, but not sure which shade to get. I went into MAC a couple of weeks ago, and the SA matched me at either at C3 or C4 (I really can't remember), then went in on Thursday for Maleficent and the SA matched me as N5. N5 pulled too pink on me (as you can prob. tell, Im not that experienced with MAC's foundations), so Im assuming that C's are a better fit for me. Not sure which one though, and would rather buy online than go back to the store. I get wayyy to overwhelmed and usually leave empty handed. Tia. :)

I'm telling you. If you can try and sample laura mercier in creme smooth. I have rosacea on my face and it has done the best at covering the red without having to cake on concealer and accentuate dry spots worse.
Joining in bc your recommendation prompted me to look up that foundation and I'm super excited to try it myself! I've been all over the place with foundations lately. Can't seem to get a proper color match anywhere!

Well my question to you would be which one C3, C4 or N5 looked better on you.
Because if the N5 was basically your color buy too pink then I'd say go for a C5 then.

I agree that a lot of Temptalia's review on Mac products now seem to be harsh and mostly against the brand versus for it. I frankly do think that she has some unrealistic expectations and possibly compares Mac products the same quality of the luxury brands that she has become accostomed to. I may be wrong but please don't "Mac attack me". A old saying is "take it with a grain of salt" meaning read, look then make your own decision based on all the gathered evidence. It is also highly misleading that some bloggers for are just plain happy and content with everything. A fun review is always good and entertaining but everything cannot be so perfect either. When in doubt, try it for yourself, if you can. Happy to have combined opinions, reviews and feedback with early swatches etc!!! One can never please all the people all the time.
It's the obligatory Temptalia dragging that happens every collection. I've ceased commenting on it.

What color match are you? And do you have dry skin? I really love it. It is well worth the price and lasts forever. The littlest is only needed cause it is crazy pigmented and goes a long way. It can get cakey if it's overdone and fast but if it's applied just right it gives the best natural full coverage. Sample it out and let me know how you like it.

Keisha is so very interesting carrying a bag of glitter with her everywhere lol. Have you ever had a glitter fight?
If one person can make it rain glitter it's probably Keisha. Lol. Nope, can't say I have.I have had dye thrown on me though! ( if ever go to a gwar concert. Stay in the back especially if have blonde hair) and someone threw glitter at me there. Glitter and dye don't mix. Have you?

Ugh Goddess of the Sea looks amazing on Temptalia. I didn't even want it before! I really should be done with this collection, but I want GotS now, maybe Mystical still, Lorelai, Legendary Lure and Neptune polish. Ahhh!

In all honesty, I can't remember which one looked better. N5 just leaned too pink. I'm just gonna have to google swatches. Im horrible at determining my shade. Going to look at C5 as well. Thanks, Dolly. :)

I carry a lot of redness in my face, especially on my cheeks, so I do prefer more coverage most days. I didn't used to have so much redness. It just started a few years ago. What concealer do you all use? I have the MUFE full cover in pink porcelain, but it's not a great match. None of the shades were, unfortunately, but I do like the product. I use the MAC studio conceal and correct palette in light a lot. I also enjoy the Eve Pearl salmon concealer in fair under my eyes. I also use the Inglot cream concealer in the green shade on my redness.
i use the kat von d tattoo concealer i love it i have very sensitive skin so many things can break me out easily but this actually doesn't and it last me a while too! i have a lot of redness too especially around my acne scars and this covers it great!
