Well said, HG!

A little bit in her defense tho...I've met this woman in passing at an event (she's a beauty blogger) and she seemed very nice and down to earth at the time, so I started following her on IG.
I think if she's a blogger, she knows darn well how she looks.. lol. She is either looking for praise from all and sundry or is simply a very superficial person.. just seems like it from what the little I have read. Everybody's nice when you first meet them MissElle.. I do prefer snarky right off the bat then you know what your're dealing with

when I read the posts, I remembered Kevyn A.

I hate to say this, but I used to work with an actual crackhead and dry shriveled up lips is definitely the crackhead look. Also, looking like a hot mess in general and having rotting teeth is usually a good sign. I don't think anyone is going to look anything close to a crackhead in this lippie.

I have problems. I've been stuck to cellphone screens for all web-surfing and I don't know if it's that or what but I still only have a vague idea of what this lippie looks like. Why is it so hard for people to just do a good lipstick swatch? (not referring to Karen or Temptalia) but damn, why do Instagrammers even get lipsticks ahead of time if they're going to slap a filter and hazy picture up?

I agree that the filters are so annoying. It's like "hey new pic of the product, but you're just going to have to guess what the true color looks like because I added a filter."

I have looked at some, and I think, just think it may not be the actual product. MAC is ever more stingy with samples sent, and especially to small IGs and even bigger bloggers who have to buy their own.

Yeah, I don't see the point. Wait... Actually I do. Most of them couldn't care less about actually showing us the products. They're just thirsty and fishing for compliments as well as showing off that they have the product when we don't.
