All I'm getting is Mirror lipgloss! I was all set to get that, the quad, the blush, and peachy beige. I ithink I'll get one of kellys nudes instead, cheeky bugger rather than this blush, and I've decided I can't justify the quad for $44. No way am I skipping Mirror though :)

Gray hair is actually white, but as it mixes with your natural hair, it appears to be gray. You might also end up with odd hairs that are half and half, i.e. an inch gray, and inch your natural youthful color, and then gray again. This version of gray is ideal if you want to go for the salt'n'pepper look, but I would say that most people will not be able to achieve this look. Often, life events will accelerate the graying process and more and more roots will produce gray hair. It's a vicious cycle. :whip: Basically, gray hair is lacking pigments, which makes it also harder to dye. The color cannot grab onto any existing pigments in the hair, which makes the color fade away much faster. This is more prominent in darker hair. You've probably seen older ladies and gentlemen that attempted to keep a full head of dark brown, but it turns out as a brassy redish tone. My advice is to start early to go a shade lighter (or even two shades). Consider yourself lucky that you have a professional in your family. :amused: I'm sure you stepmum can help you out or at least give you a discount. Coloring hair in regular intervals (at the most 3 weeks if you want to avoid unsightly roots) can get really expensive, especially when you go for quality products (and avoid do-it-yourself bottle dye from the drugstore - those will dry out your hair even more and that's what you want to avoid as the gray is already very coarse). LOL at not pulling them out. I totally agree. Who would pull them out anyway? You either live with the gray hair or you dye them. Pulling them out is not a solution. :)
I've had a few greys due to a stressful life. It really sucks but I color my hair so its not so much of a problem lately.
I had to go lighter about seven years ago because my roots were terribly grey. With the lighter highlights mixed in you can't see the grey as much so I don't have to get it dyed as often.
Yes my few grays are so unruly!! My normally hair is beautiful and long. Those few are super course and very hard to work with I can't imagine having a full head! And if I'm anything like my mom my front will go first. Thankfully like I said I get free hair care so not too worried thankfully! It's what happens when one has kids close in age I guess lol So have we learned if the blush was that dandelion blush?

Funny you say that about VG Riri, I hated that color on me. Although, I will have to say it was a nice formula. What did you like about it.
On me, the color wasn't the best, until I'd put the VG Riri gloss on top, and then it would be beautiful! I do love frosts, though, and hope to see MAC do many more jewel toned ones in the future.

I hate when the reality of things set in and the excitement is gone and I realize I don't need a damn thing from here. I think this is a skip

Skipping this collection. Marilyn's Phiff and Little Rock glosses are both still at my CCO. I don't go out much to wear glammed up gold gloss. May get Gold Mirror in the CB or CCO later on if available. If not, it wasn't meant to be, I will survive and live to see the next big must- have.
May I ask which cco you would recommend in your area?

Sawgrass Mills Mall is closest to me however I prefer the CCOs a few hours away like Estero, Mirimar and Vineland, Orlando

Ok, cool. I've been to that sawgrass one and that was terrible compared to the ones I'm used to. I'll have to try the other ones. Thank you!

@ I got you and couldn't agree with you anymore! Rarely anything new and if new I got it during launch or didn't want it during launch. More and better variety and options a few miles away is worth the drive IMO.

You just saved me a trip to Sawgrass Mills Mall. I was planning to drive to CCO this week but I will wait until we go to Orlando. Thanks!

In my experience, Nordies exclusives ALWAYS end up at CCOs. You just have to have patience.

That one...just to give you an idea-doesn't have more than 10 shelves of Mac and is located inside saks off fifth. It's probably the worst cco I've ever been to lol The rest is bobbi brown, some smashbox, and a lot of Estée Lauder. I can't even say its a good selection of things among those brands and I don't believe they have testers out.

I'm not really digging the finish of the lipsticks but I decided they along with the blush duo will be one of my mom's birthday gifts this Sat (hopefully). I think that if it weren't for the packaging this collection would be a skip for me.

I think the one thing I like from this collection is the quad, maybe Roxo too. I'm tempted by the glosses, maybe I'll pick up one.
