I'm really looking forward to some swatch comparisons of the eyeshadows. I know I want Deep Fixation, but trying to decide how Artistic License and Blooming Mad compare to some of the eyeshadows in the permanent range.

Green Room will be on the lower lash line. Probably Hidden Motive too. I bet she uses LG, AL and BM together on the lid with GR on the bottom. I might have to spell out Blooming Mad. BM just freaks me out.

Sounds accurate! T loves that pop of color on the lower lash line.

I hear ya, I've been thinking this all morning... and the thought of smudging it on eyes...

I think Expensive Pink and Paradisco would be the most similar to Artistic License, but I wouldn't say that they are dupes. Gleam also seems to be very similar, but I personally wouldn't consider owning it due to the Lustre finish.

I already have Expensive Pink and Gleam. I actually don't mind the lustre finish the way most people do. I have very little issue with them most of the time...

I don't hate them, but the current offerings in the Lustre finish are nothing that can't be duped in a nicer finish imo. I'm just kinda strange because I either want a nice smooth shadow with no fallout or a straight up glitter shadow that requires glitter glue, but anything in between gets on my nerves. I do really enjoy Greensmoke and Tempting though.

Tempting doesn't even feel like a lustre to me. It is quite smooth. I have Tempting, Greensmoke, Gleam, Retrospeck, Swimming, and Aquadisiac, Aquadisiac is actually pretty smooth and pigmented on me for a lustre finish. IDK, sometimes I'm just in the mood for a little sparkle without going full glitter bomb. They definitely need a good base, though, but I also use a base/primer anyway. I have used Glitter Glue with these, too, though usually just a regular base.

I have Pink Cult (satin) (Reel Sexy / So Reel), Pink Tea (satin) (Très Cheek), and The Perfect Cheek (matte) (Marilyn). They're all neutral pink beige or neutral beige pink. They aren't identical but they are *very* similar. They have an amazing perfectly natural look on my neutral 15/20 skin. I think of all the blushes i own that are still usable, they're my favorites. I can't choose among them. I have a couple other favorites in deep plum and pale lavender for unnatural looks

Here are the pictures from my birthday look!

Sorry for the wait, it took a few days to sort out my pictures. The photos aren’t perfect as I took them after going out as I was in such a rush before I left & didn’t get a chance to take any.
My wonderful sister did my make-up & I told her I wanted her to incorporate Artistic License & Copperthorn into the look & she did beautifully

I loved my eyes

Sadly as it was late & I was very tired the pictures don’t do the make-up or me any justice

haha . As she applied Copperthorn I asked her to write her thoughts on it as a product & what it was like to work with for y’all. This is what she said:
“Copperthorn was nice and smooth to apply, it could easily be built up to full opacity if desired but one layer was dramatic enough for this look. The “glitter” for want of a better word is more like flakes of copper and they dried very smoothly not bitty at all. The product dries beautifully and do not smudge or budge once it had dried. I used a MAC 266 brush to apply Copperthorn under the lower lash line & it was very nice to work with and looks amazing in real life, highly recommended it to all

And I have to agree with her. It lasted perfectly throughout the evening! It looked so gorgeous (

my new favourite fluidline) & was so easy to take off once I got home.
In the flesh Copperthorn looks even better than in the photos, I love it & I'm getting a back up!
So enjoy the pictures & I hope they help

As always I'm an NW13
