I have that same sort of thing going on, and have been asked by makeup artists what I had on my eyes when they were bare - I just tell 'em "it's called middle age"

It's actually a pretty nice thing. 'Makes some shadows look a little wrong, but it also pretty much negates having to worry about going through a lot of effort for a little depth on days where I don't have time. Also why I love sheer shadows. Lately I've been just blending a little Our Secret (and now Nightshade) along the lash line and contoured at the outer corner or crease with a pencil brush, slap on mascara, and have a really classy simple eye look.

I was talking to Naomi about this the other day. She has default eyeshadow without having to do a thing, and it's gorgeous!

I went to MAC yesterday to look...I swatched Green room and I don'trrememberthe brown shades name lol.......anyways I liked them after a second try...but my no buy stopped me :(

The last time I went foundation shopping in there, I kept applying different shades to my neck and walking in and out of the store. They looked at me like I was crazy. Either that or they thought I was stealing lol. Their lighting is awful, though. Several shades seemed to match me and blend in just perfectly while I was in the store, but as soon as I stepped out I looked like I had some kind of skin disease on my neck!

Ah! This may be a tad but random but I am sorry to have been missing for so long. I just had my wisdom teeth removed so I haven't been on Specktra lately. :( Anywho, I wanted to say thank you all so much for the kind words on the pictures of my swatches and makeup look on my previous post. I truly appreciate it so very much. And I'm sorry this is a bit late. :shock: Also, @elegant-one I am wearing Worldly Wealth on my cheeks. :3

So all I have picked up so far is WW and BfB. Trying to tell myself no on Black ivy. Though the color is gorgeous i'm afraid it won't look good against my eye color.

Thanks for posting this video. I've been meaning to go back in the thread and read how people were mixing Worldly Wealth with Bred for Beauty but I can see the application in your video. I love your Moody Blooms quad. I think I really need to get Lucky Green now. I tried using Sweet n Punchy and it was just looking too yellow. I still have Chartreuse Bouquet pigment to try but I may just cave and get Lucky Green.

Good news: it's as beautiful as I remember. Bad news: it's damn near the same color as Nars Desire lol. Desire is the slightest bit brighter and BFB is the slightest bit more red-toned. Good to know I have a back-up, right? lol


I had to do full-on clown cheeks to even get it to show up in a pic lol. It's super pigmented, though; hardly had to tap my brush in it. Superb is the highlight, Pedro quad on the eyes, Flamingo lined with Magenta on lips. Full face to do laundry lol.
