I caved and got lingering kiss Plus I B2M for it!! Its pulling purple in the picture but its a gorgeous wine red. I just threw it on in the car but I love it.

I almost didn't get Talk Sexy. Every fall I buy a lipgloss color like this so I think I don't need it but the shimmer in it made me think it might be different (probably not though). Black Brilliance and Metropolis - swatched these and then tried to wipe off with a tissue. Well they wouldn't come off. I had to get a towlette and scrub! So I had to get them. I think I still want the green one. I kind of liked Animal Instincts and the green polish so I may not be done yet. Time will tell.

Even though I said I was done with this collection, my car mysteriously drifted to Dillards. Still don't know how that happened. Reckless desire is GORGEOUS! I put it on top of Dodgy Girl, and it is perfection. I also picked up gilded thrill, which makes my eyes pop! I think I need to go back and get talk sexy at the MAC store (Dillards was out) and another electric cool ES. LK was VERY tempting, but I told myself I can line fixed on drama with night moth and hopefully that will suffice. MAC did a great job with this collection!:encore:

I went to the MAC store in the afternoon and everything was still available. I tried out Good Kisser, A Novel Romance, Myself, And Fun Ending. If you missed out on Pleasure Bomb, Party Parrot, or Moxie, then you must get Good Kisser. It's a beautiful creamy matte and the color is quite bright. Since I have Party Parrot, I really didn't need Good Kisser but if you're really into the bright coral-red-pink spectrum, then it's a great alternative. A Novel Romance is a pretty pink that applied alright and looked fine on me, but since cremesheens are a hit or miss for me I didn't pick it up since the tester lipstick for it was a little too creamy than normal, like it was about to break at any moment. The color is a million times better than Saint Germain and Snob. I don't know how it compares with Naughty Sautée and Raspberry Swirl but it's probably in the same family. Myself is... invisible? It's a barely there pink nude with a wee bit of shimmer that was basically invisible on me unless the lighting was off. It was pretty but I'm still not 100% sold on it. I might give it a chance since pink nudes fare a lot better on me but if it gets to be sold out in less than two weeks, then that's ok too I guess. I didn't try the vampy lipsticks because I'd rather wait for the matte collection ones to see how it goes. The eyeshadow quads are really pretty and all of them swatched good, but I wasn't interested in them to buy because I still regret not getting the Pedro quad. The last item I tried after lingering on a sea of dissapointment was Fun Ending blush, and that's basically the only product I bought. It's a wonderful smooth neutral blush that's a bit lighter than Cheeky Bugger and has a nice sheen. It's great for an everyday look! I guess there was a fun ending after all in this novel romance. #cornypuns

I woke up this morning and drove to the store. Let's just say the person that decided to pave a major road with two schools on it at 9:30 am needs to dragged out and pummeled. However I digress. I get to the store and I enter and the display looks awesome and the window amazing. I get in and the swatchfest begins. The electric cool shadows were amazing. To me they seem smoother this time around. Next was the quads I swatched the purple one and A novel romance. I have to admit that they both watched very well. Apparently they are stepping up the swatch game. Ever since the PL collection. The fluidline pencils were AMAZING. Great pigmentation and smoother than a baby's ass. Now onto my favorite MAC product. The lipsticks. They were excellent I loved the colors. I swatched Good Kisser, Lingering Kiss and Hearts Aflame. Creamy mattes and again great pigmentation. I didn't bother with the blushes or any of the other products. Now on to what I walked out with......

NOTHING​

I actually didn't purchase a thing. I decided to wait for the upcoming collections that will feature similar colors. I will definitely pick up a few of the fluidline pencils. They are on par with the UD pencils. They are stunning. However because they are permanent I see no rush to grab them all now. I can't wait for the matte collection and I'm actually surprised at my restraint. I can't pass up a purple or dark red vampy lipstick if I tried and I passed two up today.

Good work by you! You might just be President of Low-Buy! Why am I lusting for GK when I already own Pleasurebomb and Red Balloon? Smdh. I've literally logged off and on Nordstrom all day today.

[COLOR=800080]I've been so busy trying to settle in and my family just left from visiting so I finally got a chance to sit down and play with the lippies I got from this collection (Please excuse my breakouts[/COLOR] :flower:  [COLOR=800080]) While most of my stuff is still in transit, I know my collection enough to know that most of the colors I saw, I own similar versions as do many of us here but I still picked up colors I know I'll wear.[/COLOR]   [COLOR=800080]Yield to love[/COLOR] [COLOR=800080]Lingering Kiss ( I always loved me a vampy lip )[/COLOR] [COLOR=800080]Reckless desire lipglass is gorgeous in person! This picture does it no justice, and it's different from anything in my collection. But I'd say this is a must swatch for purple lovers [/COLOR]

I thought Good Kisser was going to look like Pleasure Bomb (at least it did in a side-by-side swatch I saw online).

I think I might go back and get it. I picked up Hearts Aflame. I didn't have Talk That Talk to swatch next to Lingering Kiss. Any thoughts on TTT vs. Lingering Kiss?

The fluidline pencils are perm? How did I miss that? I did ask the SA and he told me they were limited for now but they might become permanent later. Oh well, at least he showed me all the products I was purchasing. He said I didn't want to get the wrong thing on limited edition items. I was grateful because that has happened to me many times.
