I finally put up my YouTube swatch and comparison video. The link is in my signature. Sorry that I couldn't get it done sooner. I had hoped to be able to get it put up for you all a couple days ago, and I started to do it, but things got really hectic and I just couldn't. <3

Great video! Love the "no-vanilla" smell segment! A true tragedy ;)

Still debating on whether or not I should get Pink Cult or Taupe. I have had them in my cart for days, but I can't make up my mind.

Fed Ex finally decided to show up.

Soooooo happy with everything!

Next to Skin is the most natural looking contour I could have asked for. I really like it as a subtle cheek color too if I want a little definition without taking away from whatever else I have going on. And of course as an eyeshadow. So multi-purpose.. but I'm going to resist the urge to back it up. I use so little product with each application that things last forever anyway.

Breaking Ground is so deliciously wet as a cheek highlight. I really liked it on my eyes too.. it'll crease but whatever, it's going to be fun anyway. Maybe as a more subtle version of the "glossy eyelid" look that is on the horizon. I SO wish it was lip safe though.. that would have been so stunning.

Obviously Bare is a touch browner than I expected but on my lips it just muted them out so slightly and ended up being better than the look I was picturing anyway!

I know this collection wasn't a favorite for a lot of people, but I love nudes and I'm so impressed with everything I picked up.

Awww I love NTS too! I was going to pick up BG but I saw a swatch and it looked very lavender, so I was scared to try it as a highlight - how does it look on you?

That's a hard decision! I would go with PC since it is LE. I hope Taupe isn't being discontinued from the permanent line though!

Bathroom lighting and outdoor lighting L-R, Artificial Earth, Marsh, Stony, Taupe, Next to Skin Again, Stony pulls way blue on me.  I'm so disappointed.   I think mixing the two blushes will give me the perfect contour color.  I'll report back.
Thank you for these. You got me all excited about the eyshadows again :D.

Yay! Glad you love NTS too! I'm so happy with it. I used it as a blush today and in the crease as eyeshadow.. That and MSFN, mascara and Obviously Bare lipglass were all I wore today. Now that I'm back to school it's great to have a basic 3 min routine with minimal but versatile products that still looks put together.

BG - I have really fair skin but I only added a tiny bit and blended it out and I couldn't even tell it had any purple.. It just made my skin look "wet" - that's the only way I can think to describe it.. not frosty, not shimmery - just a wet sheen. Obviously if you build it up it shows the color a little more, but even when I just pack it on it never really looks lavender on my skin. More like a metallic grey with just a touch of mauve. It's an interesting product.. Temptalia used it as a contour but I feel like she was really trying to get it to be opaque (not everything needs to be opaque!) which made it look really off to me, especially because she has a warm skin tone. When I contour I don't ever want anyone to notice the actual product on my face.. that kind of defeats the purpose for me! I used it lightly as a contour and I did like it.. I just prefer it with a light hand and paired with other cool-toned products. And I really enjoyed using it on my eyes too!

Bottom line: IMO it's one of those products that you have to try on yourself. Then go outside and check it out in natural light. I feel like there's not too many people that this will work for, but that those people will totally love it!

I really love it! I don't have anything like it at all. On my skin it's just like the name and description says.. slightly darker than my skin tone and I love that it's a neutral beige so it doesn't look too warm on me. It's perfect to add color to my cheeks so I don't look washed out if I want to do a bold eye or lip, but it doesn't distract at all. It kind of reminds me of MAC Tenderling but lighter, less pink/tan, and more neutral/beige. Love it as a subtle contour. Love it as an eyeshadow. It's the perfect "no makeup" makeup product for me. MAC hit it out of the park with this one for sure.

I just got my packages, so I've only got to look and hand swatch them. Taupe is darker than I expected but if I use a light hand I think it will work well. Shitake and Icon are sheerer than I expected, but the colors are pretty. I think I'll pick up Marsh, too, for a nice fall look. Can't remember the name of the e/s here, it looks a lot like the blush..

I just received my goodies!  I took a quick pic to share with everyone.  This was taken indoors and my skin tone is NC30-35.   L-R, Artificial Earth, Marsh, Stony, Shitaki Stony turns a little blue on me, which i'm disappointed about.  I was hoping it was more brown/gray than blue/gray. Marsh is very pretty and looks like there's a gold sheen to it, at least to my eye. Artificial Earth is just meh.  i have similar colors to this already. Shitaki is a great fall color and i think it pairs nicely with the shadows. I also received Taupe and Next to Skin.  i'll post another picture shortly. Hope this helps!
Darn it! Those swatches look nothing like what I'd hoped for or expected! Shiitake looks like it will look really great on you (extrapolating from your arm color, that is).

I honestly don't think I've EVER worn brown lipstick... But since I didn't have any in my collection, I ordered all the lipsticks but Photo (it's still not up...). MIGHT have been a terrible decision, but my husbands family is all darker skinned warm toned women who wear brown lipsticks all the time, so if they look hideous on me I can give them to ladies who can pull it off :)

Ok, that sound quite prefect - thanks! Every swatch has scared me ;) But, I love natural looking so maybe I should try it out.
