Does anyone have opinions on Too Faced Glitter Glue Primer? I tend to get a tinyyyy bit dramatic with glitter when it comes to the holidays. Or any other suggestion would be great too! I'm all ears, I just wanna bathe in glitter these next couple of weeks :sigh:
Elf's glitter glue is AMAZING

haha.. me too! s
my will power sucks, lol!! It last long enough to make myself doubt getting something & then I just wind up making a second trip bk to get it anyway. I got that nuit one too & grabbed a few of those colorful pencils and some np, didn't get much from the holiday but I really love that highlighter, so thats coming home with me soon.. and now just waiting for spring

you should get it. I did 2 very thin coats when I tried it & it came out rich & opaque so I just had to grab it!!
what's the glue method..?
Before a glitter polish you can brush on some glue so it's easier to take off afterwards. I haven't tried it myself but as I was researching OPI's glitter off base coat and many have said regular glue works too.

I always hear Fyrinnea epoxy (not sure how to spell it) is good. I haven't tried it yet but I always mean to buy it.

I gotta try this, I love me some glitter but it's such a pain to remove. Sorta like the glue the kids use for their art projects, lol.. or is it a different kinda glue..?

Wow. I always get the early deliveries from them and I always get standard shipping. Not paying for 2 days or whatever they offer. I ordered a Rebecca Minkoff wallet Monday night and it's coming early tomorrow.

You're getting goodies tomorrow

Is it wrong that I love getting packages?

I go for free shipping too---I thought that's why things take so long. I ordered some things from there recently and it took 6 days.

Is this the thread where I mentioned buying the Sigma 3DHD foundation brush? This isn't Sephora related, but I'm pretty sure I mentioned it in a thread that it didn't belong in
girlhaha.gif
and someone wanted to know my thoughts. I used it today and really like it so far. It's soft, but dense, doesn't leave streaks or absorb too much product and it's quick and easy. I might look into some of their other brushes. It was a good chance to take. My friend got me a set from them years ago and they were trash. They stepped it up, it seems.
I asked you about the brushes. I was concerned they were a bit gimmicky. Thanks for the heads up.

Nordies seems slow to me...they take a good 5 days.  I suppose that's a regional thing.  I don't pay for shipping unless I'm desperate.
nordies distribution center is right across town. I get my stuff in 2 days Heading to UPS to get my Sephora loot

It's $350. In order to reach it, I had to consciously make all my makeup purchases from Sephora. I would always wait for 8% ebates though loll.
I needed to do that too. I am $250 away from reaching VIRouge. I just prefer Ulta's point system more, plus they were having a good gift-with-purchase during their 20% off sale, so I bought a lot of my Becca and other palettes from Ulta. I wish I would have split it up. Because now I am $250 away from Rouge.. and I will probably buy at least $100 from Sephora during their black Friday sale. Oh well.. maybe there will be some good perfume sets released and I can still make it to Rouge before the cut off.

Wow. Luminous Flush looks amazing on you. It is hard tell with makeup on but you lean more yellow?

The reason I ask - I bought that blush and it looked horrendous on me.. I am light-skinned as well-- a little darker than you-- about a NW20-NW25. It looked orange and hideous. I have pink undertones, so maybe that is why it turned such a wonky color.. but yeah, I sold it in a blog sale. I am jealous it looks so nice on you, because that color is the reason I didn't buy the palette.

Have you tried the Mood Exposure blush? That is my favorite blush of life !! next to Nars Sin.
That is funny you say that! I saw her picture and thought the EXACT same thing. I'm very fair, Nars Mont Blanc. I tried Luminous Flush and it was HORRENDOUS on me! Instant return. I swapped for Mood Exposure and love it. Most of those blushes looked ruddy and orange on me, it was weird. I'm tempted to pick up the really cool pink one, though. :)

Speaking of BLACK FRIDAY.. I wonder if we will get a sneak peek soon.

ETA: I just googled around.. and found info on Black Friday for Sephora. A website says that last year - they didn't release info on their black Friday sale until the week of Thanksgiving. They do already have a section added for Black Friday on PInerest, but nothing has been added yet.. So I guess I will start stalking their PInterest. lol

Oh wow- so I am not the only one with that struggle of having blushes look orange? I will see a blush in the pan and think it will work..and then put it on..and it will look completely different and orangey.. I have a phobia about looking orange. It is NOT a good look for someone light skinned..eekkk.

In regards to cool toned blushes - I really like illamasqua's Katie blush.. But Sephora stopped selling Illamasqua

.. I bought Becca's Gypsy during Sephora's sale..but it hasn't come in yet. It is a cool toned pink..I will let you know if it works out on my skin.

Yes! I've bought a few pinks before and when applied, it's nothing like the pan color on me. :( I feel your struggle! I wish I could cheaply get illamasqua here, I loved their polishes! Looking forward to how Gypsy looks on you!

Have you tried the Mood Exposure blush?  That is my favorite blush of life !! next to Nars Sin.  I only have the Gavi -- I can swatch it for you later this afternoon.  Not sure if it will help now that the sale is over.. Nor will it help if I don't have the other 3 to swatch lol. I agree with you - I do NOT care for the white solo.  I wear the black alone...or layer it.    I get migraines.. and perfumes can be a trigger.  I am not sure about Light Blue, but I wanted to suggest Nirvana black.  It does NOT give me a headache.. and if you're a fan of vanilla scents - then you'll love it.  The notes in it are: vanilla, sandalwood and violet. I needed to do that too. Actually ladies I'm pink/cool toned. I do wear a more neutral/pink foundation just to counteract some of the redness in my skin (I have rosacea) but never yellow toned because then I look like an Oompa Loompa! I was wearing a pretty med-full coverage foundation in this picture, so maybe that explains it? I can/do wear peach/coral blushes but I agree orange (blush, lipstick, clothes) all look horrendous on me. My friends and I joke that when I wear orange I turn orange (I really do). I did apply the blush very lightly with a non-dense brush, and I apply it into the backs of my cheeks blending with my contour. Not sure but maybe the combination of the blush with my contour kept it from going ruddy? I do use very cool toned (no orange) matte bronzers.

I placed this order in October, got it 2.5 weeks after, which is a very prolonged time, but I went with that. However, I didn't like my product at all and returned it via USPS. What really shocks me is that I still don't have my refund. So, I contacted customer service and she said couldn't find my returning record. Sooooo disappointed! Never shop at Sephora ever again!

That's so strange! Luminous Flush doesn't go orange on me at all! It just goes on me as a peachy pink. I wouldn't mind if it did go orange, though, because I enjoy orange blush. :p Nars Gina is my favorite.
