I agree. I tend to steer clear of most pastels. A nice pastel pink, lavender, and/or orange blush would be nice

I don't mind stuff not matching, but the "special packaging" most of the time just doesn't look all that special to me... except Temperature Rising (2013) and Alluring Aquatics (2014). I really liked those.

The Alluring Aquatics packaging was the bomb. It was the best I've seen Mac do to date. It was very creative and eye-catching.

Oh no i hate special packaging. Always have! I prefer everything to be black and match, and hate getting ripped off and having to pay more for it, AND not not being able to use my pro discount now. Plus I'm not a fan of this colour of packaging AT ALL! But everyone else will be happy. Just not me.

That's a downer, for sure, but on the other side, collections last so much longer. We are not talking about how many minutes an item will last, but days. Pros having to pay full price has certainly a big effect on Pros AND regular consumers. Interestingly, this new Pro policy is not in place in Europe (yet), which means that purchasing MAC LE collection in Europe has become more appealing price-wise.

I have to agree with you. I was thoroughly impressed and got 2 lippies just for packaging sake. For that collection it felt like they actually put some thought into packaging and not just pushing anything thing out there w/ afterthought packaging.

Please tell me there will be some kind of lavender SOMETHING for eyes...eyeshadow, eyeliner, Idc...I just want something lavender for my eyes, it's one of the hardest colors to find. Periwinkle would also be great.
