I was relieved to skip this collection, but Temptalia posted some more swatches of the lippies and now my wallet is crying.

did launch day get pushed back again ? the SA says it's hitting the stores on the 9th but had no clue when the online launch was . I also asked if they would be doing presales and she said no . which is weird bc this sane counter let me presale before so

It is the 9th in stores, I made an appt at the counter to see/try the collection that day. Don't ask, she bamboozled me. They're really making a big deal about this collection. It wasn't until after I wondered what I was doing because I would probably have what I wanted by then if online sales are a week earlier so it would be useless... It looks like she scratched off the 2nd and replaced it with the 9th. Wait I thought this was releasing online this Thurs the 26th? Where did I see that? Looks like it's the 2nd now? I'm so confused, lol. Oh wait no, PT is this Thurs. I'm a mess.

I think I'm getting both BPs but not sure as far as the lipsticks go,there are so many but so sheer ._. I love silly but it is probably a no on me, pastels are a hard color for my to have on

B/c my lips are pink, I bet colors like Pure Vanity and Real Redhead will look really close on my lips. Different in an arm swatch, but identical on. I have to get Make me Gorgeous if it is like Watch Me SImmer. I'm almost out of that, and it is basically an everyday Summer shade. REal Doll and Notice Me might be similar on as well. Highlights is nothing, I have a gold layering lipstick. I'm not interested in Catty at all. Too many pinks, and this is to sheer.

I know Hollywood Cerise and Diva-ish aren't dupes and I think they're both stunning, but I'm still not sure that I can justify both.
Make Me Gorgeous is also that same kind of pretty coral that I always think is a good idea but never looks quite right on me.

Doing my best to talk myself out of getting these, haha.

Lustres are hopeless on/to me. I have 3 and all from Cinderella and BBW. Those are enough. lol

That is starting to be a more consistent message ... I wonder when if they will officially give notice of that.

Hollywood Cerise is my #1 favorite followed by Diva-ish. I'm hoping MMG leans slightly pink on me or else it's a no go.

Temptalia's swatches are a little tricky for me because I think her natural lip is pretty neutral while mine is more pink. I've picked up colors based on her swatches that end up looking radically different on me. A lippie that leans orange on her will show up pink on me and sometimes pinks show up orange. I think that might be the case with MMG.

For me too! It definitely looks like an amplified.

I swatched this with the other lipsticks today and I'm sure it is not a lustre. The colour was pretty opaque and looked a little orangy. Very pretty.
