Just found lots of swatches on Karrie's blog: http://mackarrie.blogspot.de/2015/03/mac-mac-is-beauty-haul.html
Ugh, I guess Looking Good leans too red for me.

I keep getting drawn to Diva-ish and Make Me Gorgeous when I look at swatches, but I can't shake the feeling that I already own those colors. I think I'm going to have to skip them... in favor of some of the lustres oddly enough.
I feel the same way about Make Me Gorgeous. I probably don't have a dupe for Diva-ish since I skipped Red Balloon from Playland unless it's super close to Impassioned.

Based on the latest swatches, Looking Good and Ivy seem like they would require layering to build up intensity which is something i found extremely annoying with deliciously rich. I'm afraid they'll be too gritty in consistency, i was also expecting to see more red in Looking Good.

Was it more of a grey like in the pic? I wanted it to be a pretty lavender but if not that's just one more thing to remove from my haul that needs to be down-sizded anyway!!

I just need more swatches of Silly and To Dye For. My lists of needs include:

Reel Sexy
Notice Me
Real Doll
Preening
Doll Me Up

Trying to contain myself as much as possible for this collection!

I think her picture is a little light in general because my Preening swatches more vivid and intense. Maybe it's just my monitor. So WF might be a little more intense, too.
Anyway, WF is a pretty lavender in the pan, but the color did not transfer very well when swatched. I barely had a wash of color when I tried it on my hand at the counter. So it was not the color that bothered me, but the texture, and I'm usually a big fan of lavender eyeshadows. Hope this helps.
edit: so eventually, WF would look quite grey on me, yes. My complexion is NC-toned, so many lavenders mix up with that yellowish tone and turn muddy and grey.

I see, I'm just not so impressed by it and I really don't think I'll need it. So WF is a

please excuse my rough, flaky hands! :) the pics' quality isn't great, but these are my first swatches here, so hth.

Thanks for the comparison with Angel Flame; I have that already and Jete and Jest, so I think I`m good. Preening looks very light both on you and on Karrie, I think I expected it to be a bit more intense (I`m similarly pale), I will skip it. Funnily enough, Wow Factor looks on Karrie like Yoghurt looks on Temptalia :D but either way, it is too grey and muddy, and I have already Beautiful Iris. Because I`m on Low Buy, I try to buy as little as possible and live from my stash.

That's how I feel about Reel Sexy. I have Sushi Kiss and want Tumble Dry from Wash and Dry so do I really need another milky coral?

I am, too, but this month, it did not work at all. :blushing: But the upcoming collections are less interesting for me, so I won't splurge again.
Angel Flame is more yellow-golden than Bouffant, but in a full eye look, I guess it's all right as a "dupe". It's good for you if you can skip the eyeshadows!

Yes, the upcoming collections don't have anything interesting for me, either, but then I have been collecting MAC for 10+ years, so there are many similar items that I own or I owned and sold them because they were not quite right. True about Angel Flame, but I think for example Jete would play the same role in a look, and as you hinted at, even if swatches vary a teeny bit, in the end being in a look it won't be such a noticeable difference that it is "necessary" to have both.

I am very aware that small differences can be significant when it is about the question whether a colour / tone is right for one's colouring or not, so it is possible that one shadow looks wrong and the other one perfect and they only differ by 5%, but when both are right for one's colouring / eye colour / overall look etc, then it´s just about the question whether one wants / wishes to buy another one or not.

I had this issue with Toying Around and Burmese Kiss! BK is complete perfection on me but I hate TA!

I didn't think it was grey when I swatched it but it wasn't extremely pigmented.
