True, that's why I order from Nordstrom too. I just get impatient when it comes to new make up

. I still plan to go to the counter and play with the new goodies on Thursday, I can't resist. I'm sure I'll walk out with one of those black bags. Lol.

Thank God I got over my gel eyeliner kick a few years ago because I just couldn't do a wing with my hooded lids. It's saving me money right now lol. And I rarely use color bases under my eye shadow. These blues are tempting me but I won't get much use out of them. The pots are just too big for me. I know that if they had a rusty color like NARS Persia though I would be in trouble. Anyone know of a base like that?

I know how you feel, when we really want something, we want it ASAP! lol. You'll get it very soon, I'm sure. Shopping for MAC in Nordies is better in my opinion because of ebates, their point system and their return policy. I dislike the fact that if you order from mac online and are displeased with your purchase, you can't return it in store, and have to deal with shipping costs and waiting for them to process your return. Nordies shipping is always free, even return shipping. Sure Mac's shipping is quicker, but you'll get your product nonetheless. I don't mind the wait, it's worth it when shopping with Nordstrom. I'm excited to get my new babies, but I'll just play with what I have in the meantime

I didn't even know that about MAC!! Probably because I've never been displeased... I like that I can order from Nordstrom and return to Nordstrom Rack. There aren't any Nordstrom's near me.

Nope, not usually. I mostly work with powders. I rarely buy eyeliner in general because I rarely use it and I'm not good at it. I have like 5 liquid liners I use once in a blue moon and I have one black and brown eyeliner which I only use to line my top waterline to make my eyelashes look fuller. I might use them as bases if needed. I have UD's Lucky eyeliner because it's just so pretty and I have NYX milk if I need a white base. But otherwise I go linerless because I have small eyes, little lid space, and hooded eyes. If I use liner almost anything I do on my eye will disappear when my eyes are open. So I have a bunch of colored eye shadows and when I do want a colored liner I use my Duraline to create a liquid liner.

I used to use color bases, but nowadays my makeup application has to be quick. Yeah, pencils are easier to store for me, a bunch of pots I won't use regularly makes no sense for storage in my case. They're still glass too, right? They'd probably weigh down my little plastic storage drawer, lmao!

Whaaaaaaaat? Really? :( I was thinking of returning Cardinal and NFP. I have to go to the mall this weekend and was hoping to run to the counter and return them. I never knew that! That's really frustrating and inconvenient!!!

I went to return something at MAC in Macy's that I bought online and they said that I could return it but I might not get the full refund because I bought it online instead of in store. Then they tried to turn me away but I was like naw girl you will process this return. I'm not waiting two weeks for a $20 refund. Anyway it went through at full price and I just told them to put it on a store card since I'd end up spending it there anyway. Then the girl wants to act nicer about it after I put it on the store card. Idk if she didn't want to process my return or if it is hard to refund stuff not purchased in store and she didn't want to deal but just press a little and see what happens. As for only getting a partial refund because I didn't purchase it from that store that sounded like bull and idk if that is even true but it just didn't sound right.

: Only time I've had to take stuff back, is if something smells foul. But yea, I really don't like that you can return in store :( Nordstrom wins that one!

Wow! That sounds like employee error! Even if you dont have your receipt, but you have the customer return label on the product, you can still get a full refund because the CRL pulls up your transaction. The people you were dealing with sound like they didn't know policy!

I might be going to check out the colors because they're just so gorgeous and I want to play with them but I probably won't get anything. I bought the paint pot in Indianwood and although I loved it I didn't use it as a base or highlight as much as I thought I would. And you need so little with that big pot they give you I realized I'd never get through it so I don't buy them or gel liners anymore. I doesn't help that I'm not heavy handed either. I hate buying products that I don't end up putting a dent in. I want to see my use.

I'm going to try anyways, I guess. I'll just be nice and firm. I don't want to wait 2 weeks for $32. To me, that's incredibly silly on MAC's part. I don't understand this policy. I feel like most stores now a days you can return online purchases in person. I didn't know that was still considered a "perk"

I was horrible at applying gel liners for the longest! It took me years of practice to get it right. I've seen many techniques online that show women with hooded eyes creating a nice wing! Dont give up luv! Pick a color you know you'd use, and go for it! :)

Yep! It SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm really mad now. lol. I ordered stuff I wasn't sure about from the MIB collection, too... thinking I could return in stores. I don't have a nordstrom around here so in store returns there wouldn't have helped me anyways.

I guess I won't be "blindly" ordering on MAC anymore.

I like NFP but it's dupeable and I don't think I'll wear it a lot. Same with Cardinal. Plus I also got MM and like it much better.

Yea, I'm cautious when I order from MAC online for that reason. It doesn't make sense as to why returning in store for online purchases can't be done! Like, NO SENSE  Sorry that you gotta go through the BS :( I like NFP, but I agree it can be easily duped! Milani Cosmetics has one that cost 5.99!!! I think it's called "hot pink rage"
