ugh! That happened to me once with Chanel. They had the whoooole holiday collection out. I swatched, fell in love, chatted with the SA the whole time. Then, I said, "okay, I want these three items." and she goes, "Oh. I can't sell it to you until the launch party in three weeks from now."
I think I may be the only one who doesn't like Nude Dip! I've tried wearing it a few times but it was a waste of money in my opinion! I don't know why I don't like it! When you swatch them, they swatch beautifully and the colours are gorgeous but when I put them together, eh... nothing special. I tried using it with other palettes but I think it will just collect dust in my drawer.
Honestly, I feel the same way about Nude Dip. I don't dislike it, but I have used it may be 3 times and I've been underwhelmed each time. I get much better eye looks with my Naked Palette or even MAC shadows for a neutral look. It's not worth the hype at all, IMO.
Right?? I keep thinking to myself, just give it away already. But for some reason..... I cant haha.
I'm gonna give her a full day to get back to me, then I'll try calling the counter! I really should pre-order, huh? Haha. I can't do anything until Saturday anyway, in regards to preordering online. When she gets back to me, I hope she'd be able to set my items aside until the 29th. I mean, if they can't start selling until the 28th-- I don't see why not!!
Oh I see, you're waiting for your SA. Maybe it's her day off today? I'm sure she'll get back to you! It sounds like you have a good relationship with her so I don't see why she wouldn't set your items aside!
I'm going to have to take 5 min to contain myself once I've parked at my Neiman's location. Because all of me wants to swing the doors open, and run to the TF counter like a mad woman who has escaped a mental facility
It's a shame to have spent that $$$$ and not get to use it. Been there, done that.

Awwww, sorry it didn't work for you. Have you thought about selling it? Though I have never had this palette in my grasp, I've watched a few videos and looked at many blog posts that I feel are trustworthy that speak to the quality and formulation of the shades. I feel strongly I will love this because 99% of my eyeshadow collection contain nudes! I prefer more vibrant colors on my lips and cheeks rather than my eyes
However, there are those occasions when I feel festive and will add a nice pop of color on my lids or lower lashline! !!
