I had just come from the main store in the mall and at that point I didn't feel like walking back to the other end of King of Prussia Mall, which is a large mall. I figure I'll go to the one in Philly while I'm at work. I know a SA there and she's always helpful. I'll just wait until Thursday so I can check out any new summer items and I'll be done.
I 100% agree!!

I hope you are able to pick up new summer items. :) I will be going back to my store on Thursday, too, in hopes of getting stuff that was on my list that wasn't in stores on Sunday. I'm lemming a lot of the UD collection!

Has anyone tried the Besame brightening violet powder? I'm a little curious, but don't know if I really need it. Also who has a good fan brush? Even if it's not at Sephora, I just need a good fan brush.
I hear good things about the Eco Tools one. I have an IT Cosmetics one that's freakin huge and i haven't figured out how to use it yet LOL but it's so softtttt

I'm sorry about your experience! My mall has both a Sephora JCP and a stand alone one. Oddly enough, the JCP is usually the first to get the new items! One of the SAs at my JCP is a sweetheart. I was at the VIBR Event on Sunday, and the gentleman scanned my items, scanned my VIBR card, and when he read out my total... I went: "That's *with* the 15 percent off?" and he goes "Oh. Why, do you have a coupon?" It took everything in me not to be like "..........
oh.gif
You're freaking kidding me right?" I didn't have service in the store so I couldn't pull up my email. So, he went to the manager and she was like "Yes, we have a scan sheet for that." I chalked it up to being super early and maybe he's not a morning person.
girlhaha.gif
But it was a bit annoying. I'm glad I asked. You'd think it would be automatically done... especially at an event where all the rouges get the 15% off!
OYE!

Glad it worked out in the end!

That's really funny, because I do not find myself sensitive to smell-- at all! I could bathe in meteorites all day and such. However, the strong scent on that lipgloss sample was KILLING me! I couldn't wear it 20 minutes without wiping it off. Which, is really funny, because I have two Buxom glosses (the shimmery ones, not cream) that do have the smell but doesn't bother me. Maybe something in the full on cream ones make it smell stronger.

it's a beautiful color, though!
Now you're singing my song!

I can't wait for the Rainbow Météorites to come out!!!!

So the Kaplan MD Set is going back. It actually dried my lips out more and I feel my top lip trying to crust up
cry.gif
The balm is the only thing that was saving my lips at this point. It is good but not good enough to justify the price. I didn't last but an hour on my lips before I had to reapply. It's too slick for me. If it lasted a bit longer I might have considered buying the full size. Also looking at the ingredients I see too many extracts that probably don't have any business in the mask. Did they think throwing a bunch of crap in there would justify the price? Anyway I'm pretty sure the following ingredients irritated my lips: peppermint, rosemary, and lavender extracts. If you tend to have reactions to these you might want to steer clear. They say that the papaya enzyme is what causes the tingling sensation but I think it was the strong herb extracts that caused my reaction. Idk though because it could have been any of the sh** they through in there
angry.gif

I actually just slathered the mask on my lips as soon as I got home after the sale. I expected the tingling sensation because it said to on the box and then decided to sit down and read the ingredients while I waited to wipe the mask off. Of course then I see the irritating ingredients (specifically peppermint and rosemary which I can eat but I don't react well with them in skincare. I can also eat lavender without a reaction but I don't care for the smell and I also may or may not have reactions to it depending on how much is in a product). I hoped I wouldn't have a reaction but of course I did. Anyway after five or six minutes I wiped the mask off with a damp cloth as per instruction. It didn't remove much of the dead skin off of my lips. While getting ready to put on the balm my lips shriveled up and all the moisture was gone out of them! My lips looked like Spongebob when he dried out! I put on the mask and that saved my lips but I had to keep reapplying by the hour. Idk if my lips were absorbing the product or what but my lips barely felt moisturized after an hour and the balm was gone. I gave up on the lip balm this evening and applied my Fresh sugar lip shine. Hopefully it helps. I probably had an extreme reaction but this is bs. Don't use this if you have problems with the herbs listed above. If this works for you great, but I will be returning it.

Yikes, that sounds ridiculous. I had it on my list to try but maybe I will just stick with what I have and what I know.

Wow, [@]ShareeA[/@], that sounds awful! I hope your lips recover quickly. I have the duo coming Wednesday and now I'm a little nervous... I'm sensitive to some extracts and fragrances in skincare but I've never noticed anything when it comes to my lips.

I use these too. I don't know why I thought I should even try something else when I have success with them. I deleted that Kaplan duo from my cart.

I got the Custom Cover Drops today but the jury is still out for me. I absolutely love the idea of this but it has a little too much orange in it for me. The SA tried 3 colors and the closest match was N100. I really wish they had as many 'G' options available. I think G100 would have probably been perfection.

I like the EcoTools one very much. I got the Louise CY one, or whatever her name is. I think it's a bit over hyped. Mine shed from the word go.
I have never considered myself much of a gloss-kind-of-girl but I'm with you. I have one in the shade Kir Royale and it's amazing. Although I'd say that my favorite glosses right now are the new NYX Intense Butter Gloss ones. Also, side question! Has anyone ever used the BECCA Ever-Matte primer? What were your experiences with it?
I like it! Someone recommended it on Specktra during last year's sale. You have to pat it on. I use it under my foundation after I use UD de-slick.

So is it true that sephora now allows only 1 return per year without a receipt? My cousin told me her local sephora told her today that they only accept 1 return without a receipt now and it's a new policy. She had 2 exchanges and that's when they told her. I have not heard anything about this. Just thought it was interesting.

The look on my face was priceless when I realized she didn't have a clue about the sale. She actually offered to call the other store to see if they had what I wanted in stock.
