Right?!?! And they won't tell me anything! The 13th has come and gone...and still no brushes?
Are you going to purchase them, Lyse?221 and 137 are up on the Canadian site.
MACSHIP was working the other day for free shipping.
My store is calling when the 221 gets in, hopefully this week. I'm not even sure what to do with the 137.221 and 137 are up on the Canadian site.

I'm going to use the 137 to blend between my contour/blush/highlighter on my cheeks! Just like I do in the crease of the eye with the 224 and the 286. At least that's my dream anyway... airbrushed cheeks...My store is calling when the 221 gets in, hopefully this week. I'm not even sure what to do with the 137.
Are you getting either?
I've been looking at them but I am waiting on the Specktra reviews before I purchase. I have a 217 and if the 221 is slimmer and smaller I'd be interested but something about the longer bristles is making me hesitate. I am not confident I'd like another floppy bristle brush for the eye area.My store is calling when the 221 gets in, hopefully this week. I'm not even sure what to do with the 137.

Do you have a Utrecht art store up there? I have a couple paint brushes from there that are identical to the 221. I got it for a softer look than what I get with the 224. It's a lot cheaper too!I've been looking at them but I am waiting on the Specktra reviews before I purchase. No, we don't have that chain, but yes, I should try an art store! There's a chain called Curry's and then downtown near the Art college are a bunch of independent supply stores. I try to avoid them because I tend to also come home with charcoals, conté, and paper.Do you have a Utrecht art store up there? I have a couple paint brushes from there that are identical to the 221. I'm about to head to an art store now to see if I can find anything like the face brush and maybe even a fan brush. No, we don't have that chain, but yes, I should try an art store! The gems may scratch away the paint on the brush handles. Just an fyi.I got a fan brush for my highlighting, plus a container and gems so I can keep my brushes on my vanity. I was keeping them in one of the drawers, but I keep getting mad at myself when I have to keep shuffling through to find the one I need. I'm still going to get another fan brush that's a little thicker because like everyone else here, I don't have enough brushes already.
That's what I was always thinking. I would be too afraid to damage the handles over time. The gems may scratch away the paint on the brush handles. Just an fyi.

They're called gems, but they don't have harsh edges. They're for a vase that you would put fake flowers in.The gems may scratch away the paint on the brush handles. Just an fyi.
Yeah, those will definitely scratch off the paint. They're called gems, but they don't have harsh edges. They're for a vase that you would put fake flowers in.![]()
